If I could give it 0 stars I would
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If I could give it 0 stars I would. On top of pieces constantly breaking on the bike the screen never works. It is constantly loading then all the sudden it pops up saying IFit quit working. The incline and resistance have both quit working. We have probably had maintenance to the house 15+ since buying. If you plan on keeping it I recommend getting the extended warranty as it comes in handy.

Not a good start
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bike arrived with broken resistance motor. Ordered a replacement motor that arrived in about a week. The bike ran fine for about a month and a half. Now the bike has an issue with resistance and incline. I am unable to adjust either and will have to contact tech support yet again for a possible replacement part. I am outside of the return window and am worried about the quality of the bike components.

Buy something else!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Should have purchased the Peloton. Had high hopes for this bike, but after having it for only a month it’s incurred problem after problem (pedal falling off, screen makes a clicking sound when the volume is on, and rarely can I hop on and just do a workout as I spend about 10-15 minutes just dealing with their slow programming). Frustrating. The outdoor rides were what sold me however there have been rides where the camera is pointed at the trainer riding beside you rather than the road!

We are sorry that your high hopes for this bike did not come to fruition after your purchase. Having a pedal fall off, a clicking sound, and slow programming does sound discouraging.
We are glad you have enjoyed using the iFIT membership classes where you could ride outdoors with a trainer. Your feedback about the camera directing to the side at the trainer instead of the road will be passed on to the coordinating team internally.
We appreciate hearing from you and hope we can help improve upon your experience with us. Please contact us directly at ce@NordicTrack.com for us to further address your concerns with your case #1-R100931.

Pedal broke after less than 1 month
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this for my wife. We used it daily for less than 1 month and the pedal broke off. Talked to the manufacturer and they sent a replacement. However upon looking at what needed to be done to fix this, it requires an expert with these bikes, not just an intermediate level knowledge. I ended up returning ths bike, as it would have cost $200 to have the manufacturer send someone to fix the bike. Otherwise, we loved the bike and the rides available on it without having to pay for the subscription.

Poorly made bike with terrible companion app.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It broke after five uses. Several screw holes were drilled improperly including the screw hole for the peddle and the frame. So the components didn’t fit together properly. iFit app is just a whole lot of talking and some music although the music is a background after thought. I returned it. Not worth the cost and the app workouts were not enjoyable.

Died Less Than Week After Pickup
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The bike died (no power) less than a week after pickup and assembly. It was stuck in a position that made it impossible to repackage using original material. The one good thing is that it is rethink complicated bikes with electronics. This bike lasted as long as a $300 bike from Amazon.

We are sorry to hear about this pedal breaking off so suddenly during use. This is highly unusual. Have you received the replacement part yet and been able to reassemble it for use? How is it going now?
Please contact us with any further concerns you may have at ce@NordicTrack.com.

Didn't last 30 days
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The right pedal fell off after about 20 rides and the threads shredded in the pedal mount so it couldn't be fixed. Additionally iFit kept crashing during workouts. Really disappointing.

Great Purchase
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Built very solid, the Interactive Riding is great and and is very realistic, and love the way they control the bick, you can override the controls, and probably will if you are new to riding a road bike Don't know about the quality of the other bike in this category , but with the S22i you get 1 year free Ifit, the other you pay, Realisting Incline and Decline, the other is Fixed, The Coaches adjust your resistance , the other ( I believe ) is manual, Has a Fan, the other None

Great bike but confounding little issues
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There is this large beautiful screen, however there is no screen saver. So in order to not ghost/burnout your screen, NordicTrack support recommends unplugging machine whenever you are not exercising on it. There isn't even an on/off switch - you have to physically unplug from wall...confounding. iFit application that powers this unit is nowhere near the refinement of Peloton...this is much about the software as it is about the hardware. NordicTrack and Peloton are about equal in hardware, however the real key difference in the user experience is in the software. iFit really needs to evolve...and fast. Agile cycles folk.

Great diverse experience!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been on the fence about getting a Peloton for a year because for that amount money you only get a manual managed studio experience. Then Norditrack released the S22i that automatically increases resistance, inclines and declines based on the studio session or outdoor terrain. Yes I said outdoor terrain filled with many trails and street rides where you are guided by an iFit trainer. If that's not enough to keep you diversified you can open up Google maps on the bike and map your on ride which is good for pre-planning real outdoor ride. For those that say there's no off switch didn't read the instructions completely. It's at the base where the power cord goes into the bike.

Five Months in, we regret our Purchase
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The reason you only see 4 and 5 star reviews on the Nordictrack website is because the link that they send you to leave a review expires after a couple of months. Customer Service will not give you a new link to leave a review after that time. We purchased a Nordictrack s22i bike in late May. In October the bike stopped working. We called their customer service to figure out what was going on and was told that the controller was out. We were told that it would be shipped within the week and they sent us a video of how to fix it (weird since we have a warranty and expected that a tech would install the part). Then I followed up about 3 weeks later and was told that the part had just arrived and I should get it in about 2 weeks. Then after a week and a half I followed up again and was told that the part was on back order. Initially, when you buy the bike, the customer service is incredible. Once you have the bike, expect to be on hold for 2 hours or so or to wait about 45 minutes if you try live chat. Also keep in mind that their customer service hours are basic banker hours. I had to take time off of work in order to take care of my issues. They advertise their hours as one thing, but you'll find out when you try to contact them that they are closed. Before it broke, the bike was fine. Good resistance, measured cadence. The elevation feature is cool on the trail rides, but really not necessary. I liked the fan. I also like that the Nordic bike screen swivels. There is a switch on the bottom of the bike to turn it off when you're done. We also had it plugged into a surge protector. We were told that we should have unplugged the bike after every use. We were told this was the reason why the controller went out. Essentially, the controller affected the cadence and resistance. One morning it stopped showing up on the screen and stopped affecting the bike-no resistance. Just like riding a 10 speed on a flat surface or down a hill. As for the bike, the bike seat shifts and clicks as you pedal. I had the screen freeze up half a dozen times before it just stopped working. There is no bluetooth to connect earphones with Nordictrack. I think there is a way to connect a heart rate monitor with the ifit app on your phone. It's not intuitive and I never figured it out. Ultimately, I deleted the ifit coach app because it crashed every time I turned on my phone. In regards to content, the backdrop for Nordictrack bike classes is distracting. It is the bike on top of a brown Persian rug, surrounded by those white, plastic candles you get at Walmart. The whooshy light display on the mirrors makes me nauseous. The music isn't quite right either. The sound balance between the trainer and the music is often out of whack. I'm not a big fan of the coaches. They are ok, but not very inspiring. We did like Aanya. The yoga was good, but limited-they only offered a certain number of classes. The weight lifting was funny. For some reason they wanted to video the classes out in the open in foreign countries. The coaches always seemed rushed. One particular class had me laughing so hard because you could see the producers talking to officers in the background. All in all, we regret our choice to go with Nordictrack. We bought the bike on the misinformed notion that the brand was established. If we could do it over again, we'd get a basic bike showing cadence and resistance, then get the Peloton app. (Before the bike broke, we actually subscribed to Peloton and used their biking programs. We used the manual option on the Nordictrack bike.)

Get another bike
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You have to assemble it completely and it weighs about 300lbs. Due to the incline feature, it is wobbly and not stable. So if you like doing studio workouts where you will be in different standing positions, it feels like the forks are going to snap and the screen is flopping around in your face. The fan has different speeds, but it's position is not adjustable. The seat has a habit of moving during your work out no matter how tight you get it. The first week I got the bike it kept rebooting mid work out, kicking me out. There is no way to fast forward or get back to where you were at in your workout so you have to completely restart. It has continued to do this more times than not. They sent me a new monitor and new controller. It still is doing it but worse. It is now completely restarting and taking me to a blank screen that I have to completely turn the bike off and than on again. The 'create your own' feature does not work. It never downloads any route that I try to create. iFit claims to have 1000's of work outs but the work outs they have for the bike specifically, is really not great. A majority of the trainers I have a really hard time vibing with and you are pretty limited on your options. The music they play for the work outs is terrible, it is like there own soundtrack they created and you have to decide whether you want to listen to the trainer or tune them out and listen to your own music. You can not use the screen for anything other than iFit and can not use the bike with out iFit. When I first got the bike there was no option for bluetooth head sets, which they luckily just changed and added an upgrade to the software. There is also no ability for the program to customize your workout with a heart rate monitor or give you more specific workout stats. I would highly recommend finding a dealer to physically get on the bike and test it out first and do your research. I am so unhappy with this purchase and I am stuck with it. I got it in May and have given it a solid 4.5 months. Right off the bat as soon as you get it in your house you are responsible for about 700$ if you want to return it. Go with Pelaton or check out the bikes in your local spin studio. You can always buy a cheap monitor and not be limited by Pelaton or iFit, and choose what ever platform you want.

I'm in love with this bike & it's only been a week
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First, setup was a breeze, Best Buy sent out the Geek Squad member to set up the bike for me and I was up and riding in about an hour and a half. I did watch the guy put it together and I also think it’s something a handy husband could do as well! What’s great about the NordicTrack S22i, is that it really doesn’t take up much room at all! It can easily go in an office (which is what we did), or a bedroom or even the garage. My favorite thing about this bike is the classes! You can pick your level, your trainers, everything seems to be customizable. When I finished my first class, I was dripping sweat (yeah, it was pretty awesome) and I felt great! They offer everything from a spin class you can take with other people to a scenic trail ride at your own pace. You can also create challenges with friends which I absolutely love! I’ve always been a huge fan of creating an accountability workout group and the NordicTrack S22i Cycle makes that super easy. I love that the iFit coach subscription is free for the first year when you buy it through Best Buy! Definitely think this is a must if you want to skip the gym and have your own personalized classes in your home!

Buy a peloton!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This bike is AWFUL. First, they do not tell you anywhere in the product docs that it will not work on a 5ghz WiFi, it requires 2.4. That took three calls to customer service and a full redo of my home WiFi to figure out. Second, it often would not make it through a whole work out without freezing. Third, it just completely stopped working after about 2 years. Screen went black, new head unit didn’t fix it. Bike would not even power on. Fourth, the design sucked, no power off button, and very convoluted set of steps to reset the computer. I thought this bike would be better than the Peloton because of incline feature, and on the handful of times the bike worked, it was cool. But everything else was awful, including customer service. Save yourself and buy a peloton. We have a new one, works perfect right out of the box.
