Do not buy

You have to jump through more hoops and give more personal details than to buy a car to get this started - and then it doesn't start and although the call center claims it is open from 6am to 6pm it isn't, I have called at 8am, 9am to get messages that it is not open. I am returning this.

Clunky noise in wheel - Returned

Luckily - I purchased at Best Buy and was able to return it.

Dimmed Display Screen

Nordictrack Customer service - non-existent
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the RW 500 rower $999.00 at Best Buy. They delivered it and I read that it was easy to put together so I opted out of having BB assemble it. After trying it out for a week or so I noticed the resistance didn’t change wether it was on ‘2’ or ‘22’. After numerous calls and emails to NordicTrack I finally got an answer as to what was causing the resistance to be unchanged. Their solution was ‘locate the flywheel and on the resistance band you’ll find a magnet and push the magnet up a bit and the resistance will change depending on the setting.” SAY WHAT? I just spent $1,000 on this rower and that was their solution? Ok so then not wanting to go through the bother of returning it etc I asked if they could show me a pic or a video as to how to fix it and no response. So disappointed with their customer service and BB won’t help because I installed it myself. I’m desperate for a decent rower and willing to pay more for quality but don’t know where to turn.
