Not Quality Parts
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed.I have had this machine since Sept 2020 and have had to relace two major components. One was the screen as it stopped workimg completely. The second was the pull strap which just snapped today during workout. The cost to teplace it was $80. The machine also squeeks very loud when pulling.

Row Row Row yourself
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.I've read peoples reviews from other sites besides BB. Frankly don't understand why someone would think the bolts don't fit, the resistance levels are non conforming, or it rattles. This never happened with my rower. I must be the most fortunate buyer of the NordicTrak rower in years. First, it doesn't rattle. Second, the display functions work perfectly. Third, bolts need a little elbow grease to fit true, everyone who buys exercise equipment should have a good supply of tools, not to dismantle, but to assemble. I work out every other day. In between I walk the dog for 3 miles. I'm 54 and my knees were not cooperating when running a mile. So I decided to do non-impact exercising. My bike is great, but the temperature outside is 100. So inside I row and row and row. I refused the IFit for a 30 day tryout because the registration was a big farse. I workout with the morning Sports TV on, maybe record the weekend Football games and raise the volume. The monotony of the air-flow is a bit dull, you can also search other venues on the internet to keep the eyes going. But that's me. My dog looks at me like I'm from Mars. So far so good. Noridctrack rower is great.

Awesome rower, great fun workout
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. The rower is great. Provides excellent full body workout. I've used concept 2 frequently in the gym before they closed. This is an awesome replacement for the home gym. It has both air resistance and magnetic resistance allowing it to get pretty challenging if desired. The ifit app automatically adjusts the magnetic resistance in real time when you follow along with their video workouts. It's a cool feature that works well. The ifit membership is an additional monthly cost but its completely optional. The rower has workouts built in but they are not video based like the ifit app. Overall the quality is good. There are inconsistencies in the quality control at nordic track which is clear from reviews as well. Sometimes the monitors dont work, components rattle, parts break. Support is helpful but parts are hard to find right now due to the pandemic and supply chain issues. At other times its probably easier to get repairs. I would recommend an extended warranty just in case something happens beyond the 2 years included. Overall I highly recommend the rower. It's fun to use, plenty of range in adjustment and difficulty, has smooth pulls and provides a great full body workout along with integration with an expansive app.

Solid rower with great capabilities...
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed.... if you're willing to pay. It's stable, has plenty of features (albeit SUPER basic without iFit) and collapses to a decent size. All the reviews saying "there isn't enough resistance" obviously don't know how to use it. There are two "options": wind resistance (which is really weak) and magnetic resistance, which at the strongest setting is like trying to pull the Titanic through sand. Keep in mind the magnetic part only works when it's plugged in. Build quality is acceptable, assembly was easy even though I kept getting distracted. The only reason this got 4 out of 5 stars is simply because the ledge to hold the tab/phone/screen is way too small for new age devices. My Tab S5e with keyboard case doesn't fit unless I take the keyboard off, and then it has a tendency to move on the hard pushes. If there was a way I could purchase a standard screen to swap out the boring one, I would do it in a heartbeat.

Perfect for beginner - 5 reasons why
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed.I’ve had the rower for a little over a month. I started with the trial ifit membership and one of the reasons I chose this rower, was the ability to use a guided workout app, or not. I like the beginner workouts because they teach you proper form and get a “feel” for the machine and your skill level (mine is super beginner). Trial is now over and I have not signed up to continue because I have acclimated to the machine and have found several great rowing workouts (for beginners) on the internet. I give this rower 5 stars because: 1. Great value for the price - I’m not trying to be a pro rower. 2. Use it with or without an app (monthly fee) 3. Easy set up/start up - no rocket science required. 4. Folds in half; compact for storing. 5. Batteries or plug in.

Good workout!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This rower seems great. Fairly easy to set up, would advise having a second person around to help. You also need a socket wrench to tighten, besides the supplied tool. I say "seems great" because I only got to use it once before I fractured my wrist while hiking. But...I got a good workout the one time I used it. You need the app to unlock the rower with iFit, but you can cancel your subscription if you do not want to pay the monthly fee. May be an app issue but I have not been able to get any rowing workout videos to load on my iPhone 11 Pro. Another reason I cancelled the monthly plan. Might just be my phone. You'll have to try it yourself. But the app and the rower do seem to sync up well together once you get them connected.

Solid Basic Rower
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed.Reasonable rower that can be folded/stored. Make sure you have a socket wrench to assemble. Relatively expensive for the functionality, but generally better construction/support than other brands. Many larger exercise equipment companies are rolling out fitness apps in support - this includes a free trial of it. The more premium versions of this include a display, but this model has a lip that you can rest a tablet in which I would prefer.

Excellent Machine!!!!!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.Recently purchased this rower from my local Best Buy store. I was more leaning into purchasing a more high end rower, such as a Concept rower, but decided to give this one a try. The price is what drew me in. I could not pass this up. I figured I’d get it and add the 5 year warranty, and still get a better deal out of this than getting a Concept 2. I’ve had nothing but positive experience with Best Buy and their Geek Squad service, so I was sold. After about a week of using this rower, I could not believe how well built this machine is. It’s heavy, but that also means it’s sturdy. I was a bit skeptical because I’ve never thought an electronics store could sell high quality fitness equipment. I use it once a day, 6 days a week for 30 min. I have zero complaints. When I do adjust the air intake it does get a bit noisy but I can overlook that, especially since I blast my music anyways. I highly recommend this machine but more importantly, get this machine from Best Buy. Buy their protection plan; you’ll be glad you did.

Q: QuestionI am a 63 yo woman and very limited mechanically. How har is this to put together?
Asked by Lazydi.
- A:Answer It's not too difficult, just a few screws; however, it is a bit heavy and requires you to balance the screen while installing, so it's a bit awkward. You may want to download the owner's manual from NordicTrack and review the assembly instructions for more details.

Q: QuestionWhat are the dimensions?
Asked by dvrlinda.
- A:Answer Laid out it is about 7-ft long, 2-ft wide, and (depending on the height of the screen) 3-ft to 3-ft 6-in tall. Folded up it is about 3-ft long, 2-ft wide, and 3-ft 7-in tall.

Q: QuestionDO I HAVE TO USE A SPECIAL FLOOR MAT? OR WILL THE AREA RUG IN MY LIVING ROOM WORK?
Asked by LAWRENCE.
- A:Answer I would use a mat. I have mine in garage without one, but with sweat dripping, I think the area rug would get gross. The rower itself is Heavy and with use. I imagine it would damage a rug. If I were to bring the rower inside, I would definitely use a mat
