I have had this machine since Sept 2020 and have had to relace two major components. One was the screen as it stopped workimg completely. The second was the pull strap which just snapped today during workout. The cost to teplace it was $80. The machine also squeeks very loud when pulling.

I’ve had the rower for a little over a month. I started with the trial ifit membership and one of the reasons I chose this rower, was the ability to use a guided workout app, or not. I like the beginner workouts because they teach you proper form and get a “feel” for the machine and your skill level (mine is super beginner). Trial is now over and I have not signed up to continue because I have acclimated to the machine and have found several great rowing workouts (for beginners) on the internet.
I give this rower 5 stars because:
1. Great value for the price - I’m not trying to be a pro rower.
2. Use it with or without an app (monthly fee)
3. Easy set up/start up - no rocket science required.
4. Folds in half; compact for storing.
5. Batteries or plug in.

Recently purchased this rower from my local Best Buy store. I was more leaning into purchasing a more high end rower, such as a Concept rower, but decided to give this one a try. The price is what drew me in. I could not pass this up. I figured I’d get it and add the 5 year warranty, and still get a better deal out of this than getting a Concept 2. I’ve had nothing but positive experience with Best Buy and their Geek Squad service, so I was sold.
After about a week of using this rower, I could not believe how well built this machine is. It’s heavy, but that also means it’s sturdy. I was a bit skeptical because I’ve never thought an electronics store could sell high quality fitness equipment. I use it once a day, 6 days a week for 30 min. I have zero complaints. When I do adjust the air intake it does get a bit noisy but I can overlook that, especially since I blast my music anyways.
I highly recommend this machine but more importantly, get this machine from Best Buy. Buy their protection plan; you’ll be glad you did.

I've read peoples reviews from other sites besides BB. Frankly don't understand why someone would think the bolts don't fit, the resistance levels are non conforming, or it rattles. This never happened with my rower.
I must be the most fortunate buyer of the NordicTrak rower in years.
First, it doesn't rattle.
Second, the display functions work perfectly.
Third, bolts need a little elbow grease to fit true, everyone who buys exercise equipment should have a good supply of tools, not to dismantle, but to assemble.
I work out every other day. In between I walk the dog for 3 miles. I'm 54 and my knees were not cooperating when running a mile. So I decided to do non-impact exercising. My bike is great, but the temperature outside is 100. So inside I row and row and row.
I refused the IFit for a 30 day tryout because the registration was a big farse.
I workout with the morning Sports TV on, maybe record the weekend Football games and raise the volume. The monotony of the air-flow is a bit dull, you can also search other venues on the internet to keep the eyes going. But that's me.
My dog looks at me like I'm from Mars.
So far so good. Noridctrack rower is great.

I love this machine! It doesn't take up a lot of room, folds up easy and looks sleek. At first it seemed to not have a lot of resistance but then I figured out that the problem was me not reading directions. It provides a great workout and I haven't even reached mid level of resistance. The screen is no frills but I really don't need that. It's good enough to give you the info you need. iFit is worthless to me, so I don't care that it's only free for 30 days when bought at Best Buy as opposed to buying at NordicTrack where you get a year of iFit for the same price. I didn't have to wait six weeks at Best Buy and curbside pickup couldn't have been easier. The price is pretty high but all exercise machines are during this pandemic, and the quality and feel is excellent.

I purchased nordictrack because of the brand name. The rower is fairly easy to setup out of the box. There’s a YouTube video that walks you through the steps.
Main issue I had was that the display would not work correctly. It wasn’t starting the timer, calories, strokes or anything. The resistance was also not working. Nordictrack offered me new parts but I exchanged it for a new instead.
I just setup the new one and the display is working as it’s supposed to be now. I’d like to give it 5 stars but can’t considering I received a total defect in the first place.

I ordered this during the pandemic, when all of the gyms were closed and all of the Concept 2 rowers in the US were sold out, and the plant was shut down. This rower can't even compare. Instead of a chain, there is a fabric strip. The housing around it is poorly positioned and the fabric strip rubs along the housing because of where I have to hold the handles, based on the height of my knees when bent. For some reason, I can't get my heart rate up on this like a Concept 2. Also, in order for the machine to "unlock" (and be usable at all), you have to sign up for NordicTrack's online program. It was free for the first month, but I had to put in my credit card and you have to cancel before the end of the first month in order to avoid getting charged. What baloney!
If it weren't for COVID, this thing would have gone back to the store ASAP. It just doesn't feel like quality.

Reasonable rower that can be folded/stored. Make sure you have a socket wrench to assemble.
Relatively expensive for the functionality, but generally better construction/support than other brands.
Many larger exercise equipment companies are rolling out fitness apps in support - this includes a free trial of it. The more premium versions of this include a display, but this model has a lip that you can rest a tablet in which I would prefer.

Amazing machine! Great quality. Easy to put together. Super easy to fold away and get back out again. Works brilliantly with the iFit app. Tablet fits easily on the console to follow workouts. Love that the resistance is adjusted via Bluetooth. Am now a NordicTrack addict.

This is a great addition to any home gym. It does its job, the seat track is smooth, the fan is quiet, the programs are easy to figure out and it connects to your phone via Bluetooth. There are no extra bells and whistles just a perfectly nice air rower. Plus, it folds up and fits into the corner of your room and is also very lightweight and easy to move around. No issues. **Crossfitters, this is not your concept 2 that you are used to.

I was waiting to purchase a Concept 2 model rowing machine, but it has been out of stock for over three/four months. This RW200 model was listed on sale at BB so I decided to give it a try. I would call this machine a solid well-built rowing machine. You will get a good workout! I have used this machine for 45-minutes a day for 10 days and I am impressed.
I purchased rower to complement my cycling training to work my upper body, this does upper and lower body. The pull on this machine is smooth. To my surprise it is a better machine than the Concept.
Extremely easy to put together, quiet and easy to move. I am happy with this purchase.

Just ok. Keeps resetting and makes me sign up for ifit. Which cost money after first month. Don't know why it keeps resetting and machine can only be used if u re sign up. I purposely bought this so I didn't have to sign up for ifit. It allows pres et work outs until it resets itself again. Disappointing alot. Also bestbuy falsely posted sales price of like 600 off but it is actually the normal price. I feel punked. Frustrated w both best buy and nordic track

Out of box experience was terrible. (I assembled it myself.) had to totally destroy the packaging to get the machine out and reach the instructions — which said to save the packaging. Bolts did not fit threaded holes... I am a big guy, and my biggest wrenches plus full body weight did not succeed in getting bolts fully snugged up.
Electronics were an even bigger horror story. Would not turn on without “activation”, no instructions on how to activate except “see web site”. No instructions on website. I was forced to enter my credit card for an “optional” free trial of software, which installed an “optional” app. Finally got the monitor to start (can’t set magnetic resistance without it, aside from other functions!) after I Bluetooth paired it with the “optional” app. Waiting to see if it will continue to work if I discontinue my “optional” subscription software.
Hardware itself seems nice, quiet smooth and comfortable, at least until those bolts fall out!

Does not compare to Concept2 AND defective OOB

So I placed an order for this rower around noon on Thursday 11 June, and got it by 8 AM the next morning - so AWESOME service Best Buy. That was great.
I got the rower out of the box and set it up per instructions, and after doing a few test pulls I noticed a few things:
1. The flywheel is defective. Something inside is rubbing against another component - it sounds like the right side of the wheel is bent out of shape/defective.
2. Even with the air resistance at 10, with a magnetic resistance of 20... This machine feels very weak. I may have had a different opinion if I was actually able to row more than a few strokes and could complete a full workout, but really it doesn't seem to compare to the Concept2 out of the box.
The kicker is that after spending the next four days trying to get a hold of NordicTrack/iFit to have them troubleshoot the rower with me, a customer service rep finally told me that the part I need to replace is out of stock with no replenishment date in sight. So my options were to either wait indefinitely while my warranties/service contracts were running out, or to return it to where I ordered it from... so it looks like I will be returning this to Best Buy later this week and honestly, I may not order NordicTrack equipment again (the customer service is a nightmare to pin down).

Sturdy - better quality then some I have used traveling. My hands are smaller - so the handle feels a bit on the larger side. I didn't like the fact that I had to connect it to my phone in order to unlock the status pad.

Love the rower. We use it more then we thought we would. The only thing I would change is maybe go with one that has a screen attached to watch the work outs as you use it. Wasn’t to bad putting it together. Love working out to the iFit app when it connects. It does take up a lot of room but when not it use its easy to fold up.

This rower seems great. Fairly easy to set up, would advise having a second person around to help. You also need a socket wrench to tighten, besides the supplied tool.
I say "seems great" because I only got to use it once before I fractured my wrist while hiking. But...I got a good workout the one time I used it.
You need the app to unlock the rower with iFit, but you can cancel your subscription if you do not want to pay the monthly fee.
May be an app issue but I have not been able to get any rowing workout videos to load on my iPhone 11 Pro. Another reason I cancelled the monthly plan. Might just be my phone. You'll have to try it yourself.
But the app and the rower do seem to sync up well together once you get them connected.
