I'd rather just use clippers with a guard. It's good for quick, close(ish) shaves if you're short on time and don't have that much growth. Also, I think mine's defective or something because it will lose its charge (even while turned off) in a few hours if not plugged in. Certainly can't take it with me on any travel.

So....understand that, like any electric, you have to let your face get used to it. I'm still in the decision stage and, frankly, have used a blade to clean up areas that didn't seem to quite shave off clean. One thing: READ the instructions. It's not intuiitve. Dry vs wet, for exam,ple, DOES make a difference.
