Pulls Hair Non-Stop, Trims Too Short
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I get my hopes up every time for these new electric trimmers and I end up disappointed every time. Let's start with the basics: my kiddo winces now when he sees this trimmer, because it pulls hair. I tried it on my beard. Pulls hair. Cleaned it, shook it out, realigned it... pulls hair. Worse: the attachment is off by one setting. So a #3 is a #2, even though it's a cool and easy-to-use dial system that easily attaches, the fact that it's not quite right means you end up with a closer trim than you wanted. The cap for the trimming blade cannot be removed easily without also popping off the trimming blade and having to reattach it. The charging cable is some non-standard thing and it comes with a base so you can display it proudly instead of shove it in the utility drawer like you're likely to. The whole thing is overpackaged and encased in see-through single-use plastic rather than any sort of recyclable materials... skip this.
