I purchased this popcorn popper because I'm working on getting away from microwave popcorn as I continue lifestyle changes on healthy eating. I must say I wished I had purchased this item sometime ago. I love it & the popcorn tastes just like popcorn you get at a movie theater and so much healthier.

Works great and no burnt popcorn. Easy to clean and use. Love the idea that the cover is the bowl. Very few unpopped kernels. Plus it comes with a oil spoon and a kernel scoop. Easy directions for every 1 portion of oil 1 scoop of kernels. A must buy and healthy way for eating pop corn and add your own real butter and not that junk microwave unhealthily popcorn.

Read reviews online before purchasing about soggy popcorn - not the case at all. Popped all the kernels and tasted great. Just remove the black cap when popping (as the instructions tell you to) and you'll have a perfect batch every time. So easy and so fast.

We haven't quite mastered our recipe, but this thing does work quite well for popping. We used the wrong type of oil the first time, and everything was burnt. Once we purchased coconut oil, things have been much smoother. Comes with measuring cups for oil and kernels, which is handy. The thing can accommodate more popcorn than the two of us can eat, so we usually reduce the recipe. Works pretty quickly, no large amounts of unpopped kernels. Overall, a great popcorn maker.
