It bunrs the buns too quickly. There seems to be no way to clean the brunt crest stuck to the metal... so might be a throw away soon.

You have to put the dogs through several cycles. We put the buns through 6 cycles and they still weren't toasted, just warm. Waste of my hard-earned money.

It sounds like fun but it burns the buns every time. I will be returning it.

My kids bought this for their father for father's day. They were so excited t o give it yo him. The first use, the bun was burned and the hotdog was cold. We tried once again and it was even worse. This will just be a dust collector.

We were very disappointed. It was given as a Christmas gift. When they opened the box to use it, they were shocked to see the condition. We did not save the receipt so it was thrown away.

It was broken when it was delivered. I got it for my boyfriend. It was delivered to his house. He opened it and threw away the box and receipt. So now he has a broken hot dog toaster.

This item is made too cheaply. It is too difficult to take out the weiners and bread.

This item is pretty, nostalgic, but it does not pop up the bread like it's supposed to. it is nice for decoration!

This product is very poorly made. Parts fall off or out before you even use it.

Did not work. poor workmanship. Screwsfell out of it.

Would not buy again or recommend that anyone else buy it.

The only negative thing I really can say about this is, the buns come out a little crispy on the edges. Seems like you need a flat hotdog bun to accomplish a non-burned bun. Other than that, it works great. I typically set it on 3.5 on the dial and try to flatten the bun out as much as possible before setting it inside.

I use the Hot Dog toaster with the standard bun size Dogs. Just like a bread toaster you place the dogs in the top and press down on a plunger to cook. A cook time adjustment dial lets you set the cooking length. I found the bun toasting slots is not usable in my opinion, it buns the standard buns. I'll start by preheat it one cook cycle first before putting the dogs in. I also wrap the bottom drip tray with aluminum foil for easy clean up. Just remove and replace when the toaster cools off. You will be surprised at the fat the dogs drip off... I'll run one cycle and flip them over to get them fully cooked. Cleaning up the hot dog cage part can be time consuming, but over all I like it for the ease of use and quick cook times. The Red Nostagic housing looks It does get hot so watch how you handle it during use.

I had my initial doubts when perusing the market for a hot dog toaster. I've looked at Amazon, Target, and all of the other online markets and I could not just decide on a proper hot dog cooker. Luckily i stumbled upon Best Buy and found a smokin good deal on a toaster, pun intended. Not only was this a screaming good deal, but I found it cheaper at another site and BestBuy Price Matched, AHMAZING. Now about the toaster, please its a no brainer. This bad boy cooked up my dogs effortlessly and shot them right out of the toaster upon completion, literally could have caught the wiener in my bun. We started off cooking the dogs on the highest setting, which cooked them really nice. We then finished the dogs off with the middle setting and threw the bun in at the same time, no problem. We then devoured those sweet, succulent dogs like they were our last.

Works good for bread not so much on hotdogs. It take longer to cook your dogs over your buns, so found it that if your want decently hotdogs your buns might be more on the crispy side. Also the bread slots are smaller than they appear your average Frank Buns will get stuck generic buns won't due to size

Picked this out, when I was given a gift card for my birthday. I am surprised at how well the toaster feels and works, considering the very reasonable price. I would recommend and purchase this product again.

This is a really cute extra for the kitchen! I think kids will really have fun with it...I took it to work and everyone there thought it was pretty cool! It cooked the hot dog well and toasted the bun ok once you found the correct number setting. You do have to flatten most buns a little to get them to fit, but still a cool concept!

When I first saw this I was skeptical on how good could this be. Let me tell you right out of the box, I put my Dogs and Buns in and they came out perfect . .
