    New Music From Old Friends

It is great to have new music from a classic band that was so viable all those years ago. This album sounds like Chicago, and has everything you expect from them (Horns, Rock & Rolls, Amazing Vocals, Well Written Songs, etc). It's funny how this album spans the genre's of their entire career, from the ballads and pop standards, to straight rock & protest statements. The album is worth the purchase just for "In The Garden Of Allah", but there is plenty of great stuff here. My only criticism is that some of these tracks sound as though they are throwbacks to the 1980's radio standards, but it is Chicago, great Chicago, and it is new!!!!.

After seeing the band perform one new song in their recent concert, I was curious as to how the whole project sounded. It won't yield any Classics, but "Now" is reminiscent of the band's 70s sound and ladies will swoon to "Love Lives On," their best ballad since the Cetera Era.

This is a very good album. The songs all follow the band's conservative pop format that they are most known for today. The music done in the Chicago horns style is great to hear though.

This CD is worth a good listening time, played a few times in a row to really appreciate the "new" Chicago. It fits in nicely with their other CDs. Great horn section, as we've come to expect!

Chicago definitely belongs in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. This CD is the latest in over 45 years of CHicago's music playing - a real joy to listen to
