This gave me an opportunity to get it before the bots bought them all. I have yet to put it in my PC, as I am waiting for PSU inventory (last part). I would recommend to use Hotstock to get alerts and then ensure you have the Best Buy app downloaded and account signed in (and know the password) with a form of payment already on the account. This will make it easier during checkout.

For a 500 dollar card... mehhh

I felt like the VRAM was holding it back more than anything. I turned Ghost Recon Breakpoint up to max settings on 1080p 60 hz and it couldn't do it the VRAM was maxing out take it down a notch and the card does beautifully. This card really needed 10gb and the 3080 12 - 14. If your after ray tracing or mainstream well optimized games I advise nvidia RTX 3080 or higher. This is coming from a guy who went from a GTX 950 to a 3070... I wasn't all that impressed, but I was also expecting to be able to run max quality in just about anything 1080p. Maybe my hopes were too high. However the card does do well in just about any game. If your on a tighter budget and can't do a 3080 the 3070 will serve you well and last you for at least 3 years depending on how you like to play your games. Ray tracing isn't really viable on a 3070. It starts to become viable on a 3080, but even at that still not what I deem worth playing with.
