Customers are saying

Customers are delighted by the GeForce RTX 4070 12GB GDDR6 Graphics Card's impressive performance, efficient cooling, and relatively low power consumption. Many appreciate its compact size and quiet operation, along with the excellent frame rates achieved in games. However, some customers find the price to be a significant drawback, and a few have reported experiencing coil whine. The 12GB memory capacity has also been noted as potentially insufficient for some users.

Runs great. I have a slight bottle neck with my Ryzen 5 7th gen, so in Pubg it lags slightly. Overall the gpu is great and runs way cooler than my old 2060s.

I upgraded from the RTX 2060 to this version for my gaming PC and it makes a world of difference. I have gone from playing all my games on low-medium graphics and crashing an hour in to some of my more intense games... to suddenly being able to run Ultra graphics and ray tracing without any issues. It feels awesome to max out settings for new games like Jedi Fallen Order. Highly recommend... just also check to make sure your power supply doesn't also need an upgrade before install!

Great Power Efficiency to Cost ratio card for 1080

This is a great card for 1080p (high refresh) or 1440p. I am currently running the card with a 5600x in 1080p144hz. Playing Overwatch 2 (sorry, judge me) on Ultra 144hz I use around max 95% of the cpu and 88% of the gpu and never drop a frame! I feel like the 4070 is the sweet spot in terms of power usage, performance, and cost when compared to the cards valued above this one. Thanks!

Working great. So glad I was able to jump on the founder's edition as these are hard to come by. I usually go for the mid tier cards so 4090 was out of my price range. I have had this card since April 2023 and still happy with my purchase. It runs all the latest games at ease (i.e. Elden Ring, Baldur's Gate 3, Palworld, Hogwarts Legacy)

Works really well for what it is, the low power draw and low temperatures are amazing, but overall this is still overpriced for what it is.

This GPU is all I was looking for. I did have a 1080ti but when I played games, the fan would go full speed resulting in a very loud gaming experience. Now when gaming, I don't hear anything. Very quiet! I run this GPU at 4k, and it will run, but you'll need to turn down some some of the eye candy in your game settings for smoother FPS. All in all, I'm satisfied with the 4070 FE.

Fast speeds at 1440p, the 12 gb of vram helps. Fast shipping and love the compact size of only 2 slots. To fit in my sffx case.

I’m really impressed with this GPU so far. I upgraded from a 5700XT and this has been so much better. Better FPS, better quality of games, and their software is really easy to navigate. To name one FPS boost, I went from averaging around 180-200 FPS in Valorant to 700 FPS.

DLSS 3 = Frame Generation is the real deal when it comes to smoothing out the game frame rates to over 60fps. Upgrading from a 3080 10gb on 1440p 165hz monitor, which allows me to use less power for the same frame rates and when I turn on DLSS 3, it makes the game buttery smooth with hardly any noticeable additional latency.

Have owned for about a year now, wonderful, runs quiet and cool, handles any modern games at QHD on high-ish settings at 60-120hz (highest my monitor handles). No regrets, would love a 4080/90 but for the price this was the obvious buy.

Great performance for 1440p high refresh rate gaming. Runs cool, quiet, and efficient - one of the main reasons chosen over AMD. Founders edition has great quality and design. Value is on par for current state of GPU prices. Install advice - the included 12-pin adapter cable really needs some force to get it seated fully & properly.

NVIDA is taking a lot of heat for the price of this card. That aside, it’s a nice card. Runs well stays cool. Runs like a 3080 but cool and quiet. I live the card. The aize is awesome the build quality is right there. If your in need of a card and can stomach the price this is an awesome little card. I say go for it.

This thing is amazing. It was for my first PC and I was super worried that it might not be what I needed but it is worth every penny! I play basically everything at 4k smoothly. My 4070 is paired with an Intel i9 12900KS.

Love the price to performance this card brings to the table. I can run everything at ultra without pinning my case fans. The unboxing is also top notch, clearly a well thought out product. Highly recommend picking one up if youre in the market for what us essentially a rebranded 3080ti.

Performance has been as expected and this review is more in terms of this board design and not the price/performance value of this generation of cards. Fantastic build quality as expected of an FE card and 0 RPM mode under low load is greatly appreciated. I have not noticed any coil whine and it is virtually silent during gaming. Noticed ~10w at idle and 150-170w running games at 1440p.

Awesome card, 12gb is great for 4k if you stay at high to medium settings for newer games. And power use is lower than then 30 series. Overrall a great card for 1440p and 4k. If you want 4k ultra settings go for 16gb with 4080.

Totally transparent installation. This went into a system optimized for flight simulation and the 12GB of VRAM was a determining factor. I've always had no problem with nVidia cards. I picked this one because it sends air out the rear of the case rather than stirring it up inside with multiple fans.
