Customers are saying

Customers are delighted by the GeForce RTX 4070 12GB GDDR6 Graphics Card's impressive performance, efficient cooling, and relatively low power consumption. Many appreciate its compact size and quiet operation, along with the excellent frame rates achieved in games. However, some customers find the price to be a significant drawback, and a few have reported experiencing coil whine. The 12GB memory capacity has also been noted as potentially insufficient for some users.

A Good Card in an Expensive World

The best value of the 40 series cards (not a huge flex), is on par with a 3080 from the previous generation but with the ability to use DLSS 3. My card had a bit of coil whine at high FPS but that would be my only complaint. The card is very small and fits in most cases, not too much of a risk of sagging much.

These came back in stock at the perfect time. My 2070 super finally kicked the bucket and I needed a new gpu quick. I am very pleased with the performance of this card, running 1440p maintaining high fps with no issues. The size of this card is very manageable, I was afraid that it wouldn't fit my pc knowing how large the 40-series has become.

A great graphics card, It can play most games at ultra settings. The cooling fans provide excellent thermal temps. Unlike 3rd party cards of the same name you will not need a graphic card brace to keep it from sagging. The construction of this card is solid. All and all a good card for the price.

Amazing card for the price. Plays any game i can throw at it at 2k resolution at max settings. I like how simple the card is compared to the after market ones. The card is simple and keeps pretty cool even under heavy load. I do not hear heavy fan noise when it is under full load compared to my older cards.

Bought this gpu to replace my RX 6090 and I have to give it credit for what it’s capable of doing . I have not had any issues with any game under 2k resolution but fps do drop on certain game to which in average I has able to hold (110 on demanding graphics wise and 150-160 on games like cod and Fortnite ) . Overall a great gpu but it should be cheaper especially compared to AMD gpu .

Great card, wish the price was lower though. It certainly got a lot of hate because it didn't have the huge generational leaps in performance like the older generations. it sips power and my corsair sfx600 easily powers it. runs super cool in my sff build.

The 4070 is a great video card that delivers excellent performance while using little power and generating little heat. It’s a very efficient card and is a great upgrade from 10 or 20 series card. Perfect card for 1440p gaming.

Amazing GPU and it’s whisper quiet. Definite upgrade coming from the 1080 Hybrid I had. Best Buy seems to be the only reliable vendor to find the Founder’s model, and I much prefer this one without lighting to any of the RGB options on the market.

Much more power than my 6700XT. DLSS and frame gen allow you to play Cyberpunk 2077 at over 60fps with path tracing enabled at 1440p. Card feels very well made and goes no higher than 63C with very quiet fans. Very efficient too and uses only 200W at full load which matches my old 6700XT.

I'm absolutely blown away by the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070! I recently upgraded from my old 3070 and the difference is night and day. First off, the performance is insane. I've been playing games like Cyberpunk 2077 and Assassin's Creed Valhalla at 4K resolution with ray tracing and DLSS enabled, and the frame rates are silky smooth. I've also noticed a huge improvement in loading times, which is a huge plus

This and the 4090 are the only cards Nvidia have out right now that are remotely worth the price even though both are overpriced still. Out of Nvidia’s lineup this is the best money spent right here. Performs fantastic if you are gaming at 1440p.

The economical upgrade I needed. I run Fortnite at 150 frames on 1080p. It was a great price for the performance upgrade it provided. The FE looks very sleek and clean. It doesn't look cheap and toy-like as so many others do.

Absolutely phenomenal for what it is and how much power it draws. It handles everything I’ve thrown at it with grace, but it is definitely NOT a “midrange” card at $600. Nvidia needs to be much** more realistic with their pricing. That being said I would still recommend it.

Excellent product. This Card runs games others have had problems of overheating with. Common temp I have seen while running the game is usually 37. Graphics are extremely displayed, no warped edges, no greyed out display. Well worth the funds I spent for this card.
