Customers are delighted by the GeForce RTX 4070 12GB GDDR6 Graphics Card's impressive performance, efficient cooling, and relatively low power consumption. Many appreciate its compact size and quiet operation, along with the excellent frame rates achieved in games. However, some customers find the price to be a significant drawback, and a few have reported experiencing coil whine. The 12GB memory capacity has also been noted as potentially insufficient for some users.

A 25-30% performance boost across the board in terms of comparison to the FE RTX 3070. I did like the 200W power draw. I dont like the removal of the LED logo lights aesthetically. The pricepoint would have been more competative if priced at $500 when compared to AMD cost to performance. Overall its a solid card but consider your needs first.

The few observations I have made from upgrading to a 4070 FE from a 3070 XC3 Ultra(one of the smallest 3070 cards for the generation), in two of my less demanding games, I have seen roughly a 37% decrease in power draw (160 watts down to 100 watts). Additionally, in Cyberpunk 2077 running at 3840x1600 I have gone from 36FPS with RT Ultra + DLSS 2.0 on the 3070 to 90FPS with RT Ultra + DLSS 3.0 + Frame Generation on the 4070, all while using about 30% less power (270 watts down to 186 watts). AV1 encoding in DaVinci Resolve has been a plus as well. If you are looking for an upgrade and have $600 to spend, this is a solid option.

So far loving my 4070 FE. Coming from a 3060 Ti the power draw is only slightly more but the performance boost is substantial.
However, the card is pricey. Don't upgrade unless you really want to. Also don't expect any codes from Best Buy, as the OW2 bundle was never sent to me. Kinda a small issue though, still a decent upgrade.

The 4070 founders edition is a fabulous card. No wonder since it sold out in my area shortly after to was released. Clean design and very powerful for the money. The only disappointment is the NVidia logo does not light up. Not a big deal at all if you have a case with a million lights anyway. I highly recommend buying this card if you want to stay on a good budget and get great performance for 1440p gaming. 4K is also playable but depending on the game, you will need to tune the quality settings. Bravo NVidia for another terrific card!

Perfect proportions for any build. Price is the reason for 4 stars. $600 for a 3080-3080ti performance is not the best frame per dollar you can buy. Founders edition is gorgeous and imo the best one.

Runs quietly and its performance is great for the price. Didnt even have to switch out my old PSU because the draw is so low.

Purchased one for my main system to help with power consumption. I liked the gpu so much, I purchased a second one. This GPU does exceptionally well for work loads or on-line gaming. Thanks Best Buy! Thanks Nvidia !

I previously owned the MSI RTX 3070ti and wow this is a HUGE leap forward in graphic card technology. It can let me play all 1080p & 1440 games on my computer without it even trying to get a workout going. I highly recommend it if you own anything lower then a RTX 3080. You will NOT regret your decision. Also saves on electricity running at a lower wattage, only needing 1x 12V-2x6 connector to power it.

I built my first computer and I’m so happy!!! Love my graphics card! I don’t do any heavy gaming but running Baldurs Gate was no issue. Only odd thing is that I needed to get a non-standard strimer because the pin was different. Not sure if that’s common knowledge with this but I had to swap it out a few times until I found the right one.

Great graphics card, I’m upgrading from a gtx 1080 (god card) to this one as my 1080 has started to green screen on me a couple of times since buying it almost 10 years ago. But this graphics card for sure delivers in place of my 1080.

I purchased this GPU a couple months back and have nothing but things to say. I primarily play warzone with it. I get about 130-135 average fps in Warzone 2. I’m getting 155-165 fps in MW3 multiplayer. I don’t do any kind of over clocking with my stuff so it’s all run right out of the box.

Great card and feels very premium. I upgraded from the 3070ti and is a decent upgrade especially with the new software features like frame gen. and dlss3. Card stays cool and quiet. My only complaint is why did nvidia ditch the LEDs on the lettering??

This is a monster beast of a video card! I am kind of a noob to PC building but I replaced my 3060 with this 4070 and let me tell you, it is easy to swap out and the results are outstanding. I went from 90 FPS to 160 FPS without doing anything but switching the card out!
