Customers are saying
Customers are delighted by the GeForce RTX 4070 12GB GDDR6 Graphics Card's impressive performance, efficient cooling, and relatively low power consumption. Many appreciate its compact size and quiet operation, along with the excellent frame rates achieved in games. However, some customers find the price to be a significant drawback, and a few have reported experiencing coil whine. The 12GB memory capacity has also been noted as potentially insufficient for some users.

RTX 4070 FE
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing card. Upgraded from a 3060ti and went with the 4070 FE as it was a bit smaller physically than most of the other 4070 cards. Cyberpunk 2077 - Went from 1440p60fps with ray tracing set to minimum to 1400p120fps with ray tracing set to Psycho. Price could still be a bit better but for $500 you could do way worse and you're pretty set for the next few years.

Excellent for high 70 fps at 1440p
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was in the market for a new GPU, tbh Nvdia has been stealing money with those crazy prices. There might be people who will say that the 4070 is just another 3080ti. I was able to get this one on an offer and member points so it was worth it. I normally play on High 1440p, and in games like Red Dead Redemptiom 2 and Cyberpunk 2077, make the world see stunning and beautiful. I suggest exploring videos where people test the benchmarks for the 4070. I believe for $600 is not bad at all

4070 FE Works Great
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent video card. Looks good without all the crazy RGB stuff. Plenty of power to run any game I have. Smaller that the three fan competition and still runs cool and easily fit in my case with needing a support bracket. A little more expensive than it should be but much less than 4070 cards were going for last year.

Expensive, efficient, great card
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is essentially RTX 3080 performance at 200W, runs cool and quiet, and you get better ray tracing performance and access to DLSS3. It's not cheap, it probably should have come with 16GB of RAM, but it's still a great card, especially for smaller cases or situations where low power draw and cool/quiet operation are valued.

Good performance for the price.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While pricey, the performance delivered by this card has been outstanding. The card is quiet, does not draw a lot of power, and gives access to ray tracing and DLSS3 which has helped with performance greatly.

A GPU that’s worth every penny!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.STELLAR GPU upgrade with blazing performance, improved graphics, that all operates without any issues! I purchased a 2022 Dell XPS 8950 Creator Edition 1000 PSU, performance liquid cooled CPU, i7-12700k intel processor, and Founders edition RTX 3060 with the intention of upgrading to one of the RTX 4000 series GPU’s. I am so pleased with my decision to buy the Nvidia RTX 4070 as an upgrade. Recent play through of Elden Ring gets 60 fps, runs so smoothly on max settings, 4K resolution Dell monitors with even Ray tracing enabled on medium or high, no stuttering whatsoever! Some folks say the XPS 8950 doesn’t have great air flow and the RTX 4070 is crammed inside causing high GPU temps or even overheated rigs. I’m not sure why that’s some people’s experience but it sure hasn’t been mine!

5/5 performance and efficiency if you want to pay
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A great quality card at a reasonable price. I was very impressed at the performance considering the size and low power draw of the card. The complaints are real but most of them are about the cost. Honestly if you get it with a free game or below msrp this is a wonderful buy. It is nearly twice the performance as my 1070ti at pretty much the same tdp. If you have a 20 or 30 series card i might consider waiting

||Posted . 4070ti for the win
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I play games at 1440p. This card gives very fluid motion with all settings on highest values. My monitor is 165hz and my FPS are always over 90. Quiet. Fits better than it's bigger siblings.

Efficient Card
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm happy with the 4070. I have a number of other cards, 4090, 3080ti.. etc. This card performs slightly under my 3080ti, however, it uses far less power. I have noticed the founder edition cards do run a bit hot, however, I do very much like the look and form of this GPU. It is much smaller than the 4090 and will fit in a more cramped build.

Great gpu/ no issues with any bottlenecking
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For anyone womdering, this will work/fit into your aurora r7. I did upgrade my power supply from a 460w to a 850w. All you really need is 550w for this gpu. The gpu works great! I did have to reset my drice(pc), when i first installed it, it runs but none of my games were starting, i kept on getting an erroe from directx, resetting your drives should do the trick. Its standard to do it whenever you put in a new gpu. Anyways, once you're dome that then enjoy your new gpu.

Power efficient and beautiful!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Coming from an RTX 2070, this is a huge upgrade! This thing gets DOUBLE the performance of my trusty 2070, while importantly having practically the same power draw. Able to push over 120+FPS on 1440p max settings(without frame gen)in most modern intensive games. Even in the most intensive titles, it can push out a solid 60 FPS 1440p MAX settings BEFORE DLSS. For 600 dollars, I would have liked to see 16GB of VRAM for future-proofing, but the 12GB is passable. Another plus, this card is very small compared to anything else within its performance range. Possibly the best GPUfor small form factors.

Killer card despite all the negative press!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The GPU market is in a weird spot right now where cards are still charging arguably unfair MSRP despite the crypto boom and COVID lockdowns being a thing of the past. The 4070 has been absolutely destroyed in reviews because of this. The main focus has been on price point instead of what the card is actually capable of. Sure, it should probably be more like $500-550, but even at $600, this thing is a powerhouse. I upgraded from a 2070 super and the difference is night and day. DLSS 3.0 is a big step up from 2.0 and I finally feel like I am getting my moneys worth out of my 1440p 144hz gaming monitor. AV1 encoding is also a huge future-proof feature that will make a big difference for content creators as more live streaming platforms adopt this more efficient and powerful encoder. Buying a new GPU ultimately comes down to what you are upgrading from and what your budget is. There are a lot of cards out there in the 400-700 price range and this is definitely one of the strongest all around packages. All in all, I am extremely pleased with this product and would recommend to anyone on the fence due to the price point.

3 years of perfect use
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After three years of daily driving the NVIDIA RTX 4070 Founders Edition, I feel qualified to give it the highest praise possible: it has been an utterly reliable and consistently impressive workhorse. This isn't a review of fresh-out-of-the-box hype, but of long-term performance and value. Performance That Endures: When I bought this card, I aimed for smooth 1440p gaming. Three years later, it continues to deliver exactly that. With DLSS 3 (and now DLSS 3.5 with Ray Reconstruction), it handles every modern title I throw at it—from the lush worlds of Cyberpunk 2077 to the intensive battles of Alan Wake 2—with buttery frame rates and maxed-out settings. The 12GB of VRAM, a point of debate at launch, has proven perfectly sufficient for my 1440p/144Hz gaming needs. It's a card that has gracefully aged, thanks to continuing software optimizations and the magic of DLSS. The Founders Edition Advantage: The build quality is where NVIDIA's design truly shines. That iconic, compact dual-flow axial cooler isn't just for show. After three years of use, it remains remarkably quiet and cool under load. I've performed routine dust cleaning, but the thermal paste and fans are still going strong. Zero coil whine, zero fan issues. Its sleek, all-metal design still looks premium sitting in my case. The efficient Ada Lovelace architecture also means my power bills haven't suffered, a bonus that compounds over time. Long-Term Verdict: In a tech landscape obsessed with the "next big thing," the RTX 4070 FE has been a rock of stability. It delivered on its promises at launch and has continued to exceed my expectations year after year. It's a testament to smart engineering and a perfectly targeted 1440p spec. For anyone looking for a premium, durable GPU that delivers elite performance without the bulk, noise, or power hunger of larger cards, this Founders Edition model is a proven winner. After three years, it gets my highest, most confident recommendation. An absolute 5-star purchase.

Great upgrade from 3060
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Been looking for an upgrade that did not require a case upgrade due to size. At just over 10 in long, this card has all the performance and none of the size bloat. Runs pretty much anything at max settings in 1440 at 100 fps+. It’s whisper quiet and from what I can tell hasn’t even started to look like it’s working hard. Should last well into the RTX 60 series release or beyond.
