Customers often highlight the GeForce RTX 4080 16GB GDDR6X Graphics Card's impressive performance, especially for high-resolution gaming, and its effective cooling system. Many appreciate the high frame rates and excellent ray tracing capabilities, although some users mention the card's substantial size and weight. Better to get RTX 4090 no joke
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Superb gaming performance and very quiet.... but it's an overpriced GPU and massive size are big downers. Can't say it's worth it at msrp so I would wait for some sort of sale or discount.

Expensive, but Effecient
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Came from a 3080, this thing is quieter, 33% faster, and more power efficient. I'm really impressed with the build quality of the founders editions. The downside is the overall price - this card should never have been about $1k.

Chunky and strong and to expensive
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Moving from a 3080 to this has been great. The price is absolutely terrible though so understand that. The super series is most likely coming out soon so wait till thats announced and get it on sale if you can. The performance has been all around good and im surprised my temps stay under 65 considering my 3080 struggled to stay under 80. I dont regret the purchase since I can afford it, but if this is a lot of money for you get something way cheaper and stick to mid range cards for a while. If this was me 3 years ago I would be sick at the amount this costs.

Excellent performace but expensive
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first Nvidia FE card, the build quality is great compared to other AIB cards I've owned. Performance is excellent, 4k max settings 60fps on almost any title. If it can't do 4k 60 there is usually dlss/fsr that can pick up the slack. Because Nvidia used the same cooler as the 4090 it also runs very cool and quiet. 50C on average while gaming with 60C under benchmarks. Unless you are going for 4k 144hz this card is all you need.

Best card on the market.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This card should be top of the line. I am not really sure why the 4090 or 4090 ti exist. It seems like a money grab. The 4080 will handle everything you throw at it. I hooked 3 monitors to this card. 2 at 60 hz and 1 at 144 hz. I play at 4k with ultra settings. I get over 100 fps at all times. Video processing and rendering is extremely fast. Regardless of opinion, this is the best card you could get at the moment.

Very solid RTX card with great efficiency.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I know this is slightly overpriced even in the current market. However, after installing this and firing up some demanding titles, I am throughly satisfied of the performance at maxed out settings. This model runs so cool as well since it uses the same massive heat sink of the 4090. Love the efficiency in terms of performance per watt. I just wish the performance per dollar ratio was better.

Fast card. Not great value/money but it’s fast.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Speedy as heck! A bit on the pricy side for what it is… if i could, i would have stayed with my excellent EVGA 3070Ti. But i want to do AI-training tasks so i needed to upgrade to a card with better memory, and i wanted to go to the 40-series to ‘futureproof’ my gaming. Huge shame EVGA stopped making graphics cards, but i had to do what i had to do and this FE 4080 is speedy and gets the job done. I like that it uses less power than even the 3090Ti. It’s more similar to 3080 and 3090. And if you look at how much power the 4090 draws, i’m happy with the level of performance i’m getting from this card. If only it weren’t quite so expensive.

Amazing card
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The 4080 founders edition uses the exact same cooler as the 4090, giving it impressive cooling headroom and the same sleek stylish design that puts most aftermarket brands to shame. It's a wonderful card that easily outperforms the best card from the previous generation while providing newer features such as DLSS 3 and 3.5. It uses large reliable fans that basically last forever and aren't loud. It's a real gaming powerhouse

Good!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great card overall. Nice big size so it's quiet and cool. Still fits in small midsize cases, I put it in the Fractal Define C and Fractal Torrent Compact so don't let the bogus reviews scare you away just check the dimensions yourself. The Frame Gen feature (DLSS 3) is probably the biggest deal, it works great in my experience. I've used it in Spiderman Remastered (especially nice in this game since it's CPU limited) and Plague Tale Requiem and it's close to double the framerate without noticeable artifacts or input lag. To be fair these were both about 80 FPS to start with then doubled to around 160 FPS and are slower paced games you play with a controller. I'm not sure yet if Frame Gen will be useable on a fast paced FPS. I did have one funny thing happen though since I take quite a few Steam screenshots and one of them happened to be an AI frame so it did look pretty bad and goofy. I wish it was cheaper but I think it's a fair price, this thing is crazy and will max out a 1440 165hz monitor (that's why I didn't get the 4090 as it seems unneeded, and might as well save $400). Some people spend $75 a month on cable TV and this is a bargain compared to that. Also a big thanks to Best Buy for helping to get rid of scalpers and bots on GPU's!

Not for everyone but it's a beast.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Think it's fair to say that this is one of the only models of the 4080 worth buying. If you're paying any more than MSRP for this chipset you're making a mistake. That being said, it costs less than a 4090 and only 100 more than a 3090 Ti (at the time of writing), so the pricing makes sense to me considering it's massive improvement in performance compared to the 3090 Ti. If you only care about gaming and not GPU related work, I'd just wait for the benchmarks and release of 7900 XT and XTX and make a decision from there. You could potentially save a couple hundred bucks to spend on other things like a better cpu

Good card, bad price
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great quiet card. Quite a bit overpriced but offers great performance. It is also much larger than I expected from a founders edition card

Powerful GPU but overpriced
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a good GPU and I use it for 4K gaming with DLSS on. The rasterized performance is okay but the general direction NVIDIA is headed in is relying on DLSS and Frame Gen tech which is great for some gsmes but not perfect. If you take those two things away, this is MASSIVELY overpriced. So far I haven't noticed any problems with cooling (NZXT H7 Flow case with 360 mm front fans, 360 mm AIO) and it seems to hold up during sustained gaming.

Great card but way expensive!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This replaces an RTX 3080 and performs about 50% better. It also runs a lot cooler. My only disappointment would be the price. I’ve owned most of the “80” series cards and have noticed they increase in price every generation, but this generation has seen around a $400 hike over the previous and it’s just too greedy.

4080 FE
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I return 7900 XTX due to 110c issue & got RTX 4080 FE. first thing i notice how quiet 4080 is under load as well it runs cooler while the fan is also quiet. the price of the RTX 4080 FE was an issue at first but $200 more over the 7900 XTX is worth it due of the performance & how well the cooler perform under load.

Great SFF card
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was a great upgrade from my 2070. Runs fast and everything at max. Ideally it’s for 4k but it drives my 2k UW and a 1080p side monitor. There is slight coil whine at high FPS but otherwise a good card. Also it was the only one that would fit my SFF build.

||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Card does an amazing job at 3440 x 1440 and 175hz. Runs quietly and stays cool. Only drawback is the insane price.

Fantastic beast.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely phenomenal card. It's huge, but it runs cool and it's insanely powerful. Get something else if you plan on running 1080p or 1440p because this card will destroy those resolutions and you can buy something cheaper for that, but in my OLED C1 this card performed amazingly.

Pricey but amazing GPU.
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great performer so far with my setup. I was able to install this inside a Cooler Master NR200 with little effort. Stays cool and quiet even under a heavy game load. Been able to play everything I throw at it.

As Expexted: Amazing
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Its not cheap. But no coil whine, no driver issue, etc. It’s a beast on all games I play. It’s overkill for all the AAA gaming that I do. But it’s fun and simply works with my pc. I was seriously considering AMD. But I’m glad I went with this card.

Does wonders
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had this product for 2 months now and it has never had an issue with 3D Design, photoshop, aswell gaming it does the most as it can with no fail. The fan hardly kick in with basic stuff like games. it can hit 47-53 degrees very capable with no stress about your fps… As for 4k it’s stunning overall! :D
