Customers are saying

Customers often highlight the GeForce RTX 4080 16GB GDDR6X Graphics Card's impressive performance, especially for high-resolution gaming, and its effective cooling system. Many appreciate the high frame rates and excellent ray tracing capabilities, although some users mention the card's substantial size and weight. The price point is frequently cited as a significant drawback. While build quality is generally praised, some users experienced coil whine.

Best GPU EVER but too expensive.

This GPU is insane. It's actually quite the upgrade over the 3080, I didn't think it would be. I game at 1440p and paired with a 13700KF, this really can play anything on ultra with no compromises. It is still not worth the insane MSRP though. It should be priced at $699.

Been using it for daily use and some gaming, works 100%. great upgrade from the 2080ti. its just really big, it didnt fit on my server case, a vertical mount is almost a requirement for this card.

This was a nice improvement over the last gpu that was used. The operation is cooler and it handles anything thrown its way. Very excited to have a new component that will be useful for years to come.

Beast of a card. Bought this mainly for Flight Sim on duel 2k monitors and it does not disappoint at all. Still a bit of a high price point but what didn’t get expensive the last few years…

Solid card that still holds up despite new releases. I use this on a 164hz screen at 1440p and can easily hit 120 fps on AAA titles with ray tracing. Turn on DLSS and it can go even higher exceeding 164 fps. Not switching for a while.

I had 2 4090’s prior the 4080. For the games I play which is mainly br and shooters I get almost the same performance. The 4080 runs a lot quieter and cooler though. I “downgraded” because my monitor is 4K 160hz so I wasn’t even taking full advantage of the 4090. The 4080 is still overkill but I’m more satisfied with it. When the 4090 TI comes out I’ll most likely upgrade to that and get an OLED 4K monitor. The price imo isn’t bad since inflation is still high around the globe. Get a 4090 if you’ll actually utilize it but imo it’s worth waiting for the 4090 TI.

Best GPU out there. Runs every game at 4K ultra settings. However, Nvidia should lower the price in these because 1200 it is just too much. I am still happy with my purchase.

While it's not Nvidia's flagship, the 4080 will play any game out there at max settings and good framerates. DLSS 3 is the real deal for upscaling and Nvidia's ray tracing continues to lead the market.

The card is obviously overpriced for an 80 class card, but it does live up to the performance claims. My order was actually available for pickup 3 days before it was scheduled, which was really nice.

So don’t listen to the haters I get way more fps with my pc than the reviews I demolish 7900 xtx getting 115 fps at 4k in cyberpunk overwatch 2 4k max on all games btw getting 250 to 300 depending on map and action Fans well it normally doesn’t get about 50 percent fan speed but if you crank it well it’s a bit noisy but more like a strong swoooshhh noise not a big deal I have a Corsair 4000d mesh one from 2020 aurous master board 32 gig cl 18 memory past those things I can get about a 10% overclock I’m in top 3% of silicon and I am very happy I used 3d mark I mean for me coming from a 2070 non super getting 30 fps in cyber punk to now 100+ yeah easy win also don’t let the fools tel you bad things about frame generation it’s dope adds latency sooo don’t use it in competition shooters o wait it’s not in them so why complain lol ne who I get 30 more frames in cyber punk with it and it’s going to be In future games must have it makes looking around so smooth non of that woooogly ness like you just got dizzy from left to rights to fast. It’s a heavy monster I have a top end board so it’s not flexing my pcie lane but if you don’t consider getting a arm for it to hold it up. Overall big buy for me easy win if 4090 is on sale yeah get that instead for raw fps roars but if not yeah don’t let the amd fan boy hype of tech people fool you this card is so much better

sold my 980ti during the boom and had been limping along with an old GTX650. Can someone say upgrade? Looks and performs great...thiccer than a porterhouse, which can be a con, but not for me A beast of a card!

Decent path tracing framerate with cyberpunk at 1080 P with DLSS quality enabled. I am satisfied with the quality and performance of this card, but the price is ridiculous. Even though, I regret not buying the faster 4090 card for faster non-gaming tasks.

If you don’t have $1700 for a 4090 then the 4080 is great! I’f this card ever goes on sale I will buy more but at this time Nvidia has them posted to too much for the performance. $900-999 would be the sweet spot
