Customers are saying
Customers often highlight the GeForce RTX 4080 16GB GDDR6X Graphics Card's impressive performance, especially for high-resolution gaming, and its effective cooling system. Many appreciate the high frame rates and excellent ray tracing capabilities, although some users mention the card's substantial size and weight. The price point is frequently cited as a significant drawback. While build quality is generally praised, some users experienced coil whine.

Fast but not worth the cash
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is a really fast card, is it worth 1200? Maybe not. But it does a great job at any game you throw at it

Good but expensive
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Solid GPU. It’s main flaw is that it is way to expensive when I bought it, Radeon 7900XTX would have been a better value.

4080 FE is the most expensive card
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought 4080 FE for a build, however, after analyzing its MSRP per die area ($3.17/mm2), it is just too expensive. Therefore, I will try my luck getting 4090 FE ($2.63/mm2). Otherwise, 4080 FE is good for any build out there and if it was the same MSRP per die area as 4090 FE, I would have gone with it without hesitation.

Coil whine!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Terrible Terrible Coil whine for a Founders Card. I'd rather get an AIB for a cheaper price and better cooling since you will be getting the same coil whine anyways. Went through 3 Founders card with Best Buy, all of them has terrible coil whine so I just gave it up.

Not worth the MSRP by far.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a 3080 and upgraded to this. Definitely not worth the money. I saw no frame increases and in fact had many issues where the FPS dropped to 30 for no apparent reason. I would say a MSRP of $799 is more in line with the actual performance of the card. $1199 is way too much.

Mine is a lemon
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My card keeps loosing power for no reason after 10-15 min of gaming. No overheating issues whatsoever just keeps going down in power and stays at around 140W max. Unable to recover after that without a computer restart. Performance is decent but this is unusable in this state. May be the driver or even Windows GPU hardware scheduling at fault. I do not know but mine doesn't work. My pc is a R7 5800x3d with 32GB ddr4 at 3800Mhz with CL14. Had a 3090 before this 4080 and my 3090 worked flawleslyy

A huge upgrade from the GTX 1080 Ti
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The 4080 gets a lot of flack for its price and less performance than the 4090. But it's no slouch. Running games like Red Dead Redemption 2 and GTA V at 4K full-quality is a cakewalk. The DLSS feature boosts the framerate nicely without noticeable impact to graphics quality. In fact the DLSS makes the image quality better at times. As for the power connectors, Nvidia dropped the ball and should've made them less prone to melting/fire. I have had no issues with mine however a year later. Simply plug them into the card gentle yet firm, and do not squish/crush them, and you should be fine.

1440P 360 FPS King
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.6 Years ago I built my PC.. Paid $300 for an i7 top of the line at the time and GTX 1080ti for $800. Now processors cost up to $800 and gpus cost $1000. Time changes, Money Changes, Dozen of Eggs is $6 from $.89 cents. So its money well spent if you don’t upgrade every series, upgrading my 1080ti after 6 years of use. Im sure ill be on the 40 series for another 4 to 5 years.
