Customers are saying
Customers highly value the GeForce RTX 4090's exceptional performance and impressive cooling capabilities, frequently citing high frame rates and quiet operation. However, the high price point and large size are common criticisms. While some users report minor coil whine, many praise the card's design and ability to run games at high resolutions. Concerns exist regarding the power connector's reliability and the card's significant weight.

3080 ROG STRIX to 4090 FE
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The GeForce RTX 4090 is a beast of a card. My previous card was a 3080 Asus ROG Strix (white) and the performance was easily noticeable. No regrets if your are on the fence from upgrading from a 3080. Just love the modern and clean design of the Founders Edition.

So good its newsworthy.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a clean card that's very easy to live with. Runs cool and silent in idle loads, and it just always seems "worth it". Thankful that Best Buy carries it. Would buy it again and again. I think dual cards would be great for rendering workflows. Use it for Cinema 4D and some gaming.

Graphical Tech Perfection
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolute beast. Quiet and fast. I run an ultrawide 3440x1440 and this thing runs it at 120-140fps and higher without a hitch. Future proof. Worth the money ig you have the dough and can afford to splurge. It will last me awhile, especially considering how much more powerful it is than the chips in the Series X and PS5. Careful though, it's overkill unless you have a high end cpu.

Absolute best version of the absolute best GPU
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.By far the most powerful graphics card available. But you already know that. I have a 1440p display and it runs every game flawlessly. Cooler is great and the best part is NVIDIA bins the founders chips vs the one that go out to the AIB. Highest quality for the lowest price. The icing on the cake is the aesthetic. Every other 4090 looks cheap and ugly

Overkill but perfect
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got one a couple of days after launch through the GeForce Experience app, pretty painless purchase process and got to pick one up from a store a week after release! Currently running Darktide completely maxed at 1440p and still pulling 70-90 in combat. Very impressive and insanely pretty. Huge increase in VR performance. A bit high in price, but if you are buying for a good use case, it's a pretty impressive jump from the 3000 series.

good with caveats
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.first graphics card you can max out nearly any game settings at 4k 120fps, it's truly incredible paired with an OLED display. no coil whine and the temperatures are 10-20 C cooler. power consumption is significantly less than the 3080 Ti on OC bios, and about the same or less compared to an undervolted 3080 Ti. disappointed with the 4-pin cable adapter solution from an aesthetic perspective, wish they had used 3 8-pin adapters. not the prettiest card out there but the benchmarks speak for themselves. highly recommend to pair with a 4k high refresh rate monitor and newer gen CPU to boost FPS lows. the price is tough to swallow for an ugly looking brick, but it has has elevated my gaming experience more than any GPU i've owned

It's a beast
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's an expensive beast of an item, but nearly a year in and I haven't had any issues. I'm not playing on 4k yet, but on 1440p to get over or around 165 fps since my main monitor is 165 hz. Looking at the new 5000 series, this still runs supreme on the charts just behind the 5090. I also do photo and video editing and this card tackles it with no problem.

The best graphics cards you can get
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This handles any game I throw at it at max settings 4k. This truly is an endgame card and I'm glad I was able to get one at msrp. I also love how the founder edition card looks compared to the other brands, it's very clean.

Great card
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off, it is a BIG card and has some heft to it. I was able to fit it in my m-itx build using a different power cable (concerned about connector and the cable bend) and it's been great so far. It is definitely not cheap, but the card can easily handle everything I've thrown at it so far.

Really happy with the purchase.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded from a 3090, and this GPU has been great. It runs a lot cooler, fans are pretty quiet, and I noticed I have fewer issues with my VR headset. I ended up getting a sag bracket for it. While it sits, it doesn't really sag, but i noticed that it can wobble if I shake my desk. The sag bracket removed all the movement..

4090 is awesome
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome card for 4k gaming, powerful and stunning as well. Downside is its price of course, but if you are willing to put that aside, it becomes the top pick for gaming.

There’s no reason to go with anything else
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.DLSS3 frame generation is a game changer that allows me to play Cyberpunk 2077 @ >100fps. The Founder’s Edition is also the only card that fits my case without removing any of the front fans. The metal finish makes it feel like a premium product. The packaging is collectible too. I just wish it wasn’t as expensive as it is right now.

Top performance without AIB markup
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The 4090 is overpriced but it's performance reflects the price premium. If you are in the market for you and as far as 4090s are concerned, I would argue the Founders Edition is the one to get. You benefit from the performance without the price mark up from AIB alternatives. The build quality is also top notch, arguably the best of any 4090.

Amazing graphics card, handles anything I give it
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was able to get this card during the month they were first released which was amazing to me. In-store pick up only which was fine by me since I didn't want it to get stolen from my porch. I didn't NEED to, but I opted to upgrade my power supply to better accommodate this card. I was coming from a self-contained, water cooled 1080FTW Hybrid to this 4090 and was concerned this one might be louder with fans instead of water cooling but I cannot hear it at all. Of course, the graphics are shockingly incredible with anything I put it up against even flight sims on max detail, this thing has no problem and doesn't even break a sweat! Another reason I chose the "latest and greatest" is so I don't have to, hopefully, buy a new card for another 5+ years.

$$$ for performance
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Costs a lot but this thing performs. It barely fit in my old antec 1200 case, so if your case has hdd cage it might not (had to move it around a bit). Playing games at 4k max frames is awesome. Of the RTX400 line it probably is the only card worth the money being charged.
