Massive beast of a card

Absolute overkill for anything than UHD gaming at refresh rates above 60 Hz. Take measurements to make sure it will fit in your case, and make sure you have a high quality 850W power supply. I’ve seen it draw up to 426W by itself, yet it remains remarkably cool under load. It is nice to see that NVidia solved the high memory temperatures seen on the 3080. It’s definitely an investment, but if pc gaming at UHD resolutions and high refresh rates is your primary hobby you wont be disapppointed.

Coil whine , $1600 gpu.... :(

Besides that, the gpu is great. Plays current and past titles at 4K with respectable frame rates. Card stays cool, in 60's C, during full loads.

Perfect upgrade from a 2080 Ti Founders Edition!!

Absolutely blows games out of the water and I've never had such high FPS in Rust. It actually runs so fast it shows how much my Intel 9900k CPU has aged even with some extreme cpu overclocks.

One has a quiet fan wobble (fan bearing issue) on the bottom left fan, the other might have the same thing - debating on getting Gigabyte Gaming OC 4090 for $100 more next time around as its both in stock and, according to reddit, the least likely to have coil whine - please help with deciding on 3rd founders edition or gigabyte 4090 for next purchase as I do like the aesthetic of the founders edition 4090.
