Customers are saying
Customers highly value the GeForce RTX 4090's exceptional performance and impressive cooling capabilities, frequently citing high frame rates and quiet operation. However, the high price point and large size are common criticisms. While some users report minor coil whine, many praise the card's design and ability to run games at high resolutions. Concerns exist regarding the power connector's reliability and the card's significant weight.

Fast but expensive!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The card works well. It is quite fast. At the price though, I’m thinking the 7900 XTX may be the trump card here.

Finally
|Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.[Employee of bestbuy] I mean come on everyone it’s the 4090, it’ll handle anything you throw at it. Just make sure you get a good cpu otherwise you’re leaving tonnes of performance on the table.

Best bang for your buck if you have a buck to bang
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This card is a beast. I was expecting it to get hot, but my 2080 Super is hotter. I’m running this with a Thermaltake 750 Gold PSU. I’m able to mine crypto on it but not overclocked with a 750W psu. That doesnt matter since I don’t think anyone overclocks these because of their power draw and heat. This with the 750W psu works but i would advise a 850W psu. 1000W PSU if you’re overclocking cpu, ram, gpu. It’s pricey but worth the price to not have to worry about owning a great gpu for years to come. As we know GPUs don’t lose much value either so you can always sell it for a decent chunk of change in a few years to upgrade to the newer series for only a couple hundred more.

Big and beautiful card.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great video card. Its by far the most quiet Geforce card I've owned, I don't hear the fans running at all. Its big, takes up 3 slots, but games look fantastic.

Expensive, but the best
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What can be said. If you game at 4k on max settings in AAA games, you need this card. Hard to get an FE at MSRP so if you're looking while it's in stock, get it.

Killer GPU
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Killer GPU, running modern AAA titles in native 4k, with all settings maxed out, and easily hitting 60-100hz+. e.g. Horizon 5 is pegged at 60hz with the GPU only hitting 45-50% util

The card for 4K gaming
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Insanely powerful, relatively power-efficient/cool card. Pushing 4K frames to the point I now need a 4K/120Hz TV. Quiet fans, even at 100%. Extremely happy with this purchase.

||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing card! I used it with my AW3423DW and I get 150 fps on everything except ray tracing heavy games like cyberpunk. If I have left over bandwidth, I turn on DSR!

Comically large, ridiculously fast
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Huge leap in performance over the previous generation. Twice as fast as my RTX 3080, but also more than twice as expensive. Only worth it if you're playing games at 4K 120Hz, otherwise you might be better off with the upcoming 4080 or "4080" 12GB. Limiting it to 350W I see practically no difference in performance vs. with a 450W power limit; and with the added benefit of considerably less heat and noise. Barely fits inside my NR200, but that adapter is going to need a mighty bend if I want to close the side panel, so I'm just switching cases instead. Fits inside an Asus AP201 as well, and a Lian Li O11 Air Mini.
