This is an Android TV device that plays games and supports 4K it works well and looks nice.

I originally purchased the Shield Pro to stream Kodi, however I found this machine to be so much more than just a streaming device. It's a very powerful gaming system, looks sleek, and very quiet. I'm pretty happy with this device.

Videos look very good, although it needs more games

Game stream has been broken for at least a week now. I am unable to stream steam games. The issue is acknowledged by Nvidia but no solution has been provided. Everything about the Shield seams to be a hassle. Netflix failures that require reboots and red screens with X's, controller syncing issues, game stream not working (this is a total death sentence for shield tv), wireless being used even though ethernet is plugged, my vpn isnt supported, etc... Is there anything this thing does well other than providing extended troubleshooting sessions? My biggest regret is not returning everything the first or tenth time my gut told me that the troubleshooting isn't worth it. Tomorrow I am bringing this system back to the store to beg for a return or exchange. I have a solid network and use a Nvidia Titan graphics card in my gaming rig.

I've been using this as a Plex server, and it has been great because it's small, has low power consumption compared to a full size computer, and it can transcode for plex on the fly. It also comes with a controller you can use to play games if you'd like.

This is the fastest and most solid hardware available for Android tv.Best hardware to run kodi.Still missing amazon instant video as of 7/22/16.Does not have PlayStation Vue yet.If it had those 2 apps it would be 5 stars.

I have officially cut the cord and do not buy or rent any Blu-ray discs. What's not to like? I can do everything I can do on my phone, minus call, unless you count Skype or hangouts.

It does everything my phone does but allows you to play movie and games on your tv ...but none of that matters if you're $200 product doesn't last over 90days!! Now I'm stuck with a $200 paperweight! Chromecast is only $35 I cannot recommend this product in anyway

I own two of these as well as three competing products. This is by far my favorite. If it only did the media functions it would still be worth it, but having all of the gaming features puts it far above the rest.

I was looking for something to future proof my system and this is it. Plays games, streams video and plays anything I have stored on my computers. And it will support 4k videos when I switch to 4k TVs.

This is billed as essentially a computer. It has limited abilities especially with Google play store. It offers apps that still require a computer to use. It's great for watching netflix and does have very limited games. In my opinion most smartphones can do way more then the Nvidia Shield. To use this to its full potential you must realize it's not truly plug and play apps .But you have to juggle apps to sideload abilities. And support for the apps and Nvidia is basically useless, so this device is great for those who have a computer science degree to use it to its full potential. Looks sharp but no cigar.

If you're looking for an "all around entertainment device" this is it. The great experience from Android TV with Nvidia stream service can't get any better. In love with this device.

Works as advertised. It give's you android TV on any TV. Gamesteam works but have to have a minimum 5 Ghz wifi to work. Unit failed after 1 week but Nvidia gave advanced RMA without needing a credit card.
