From Kodi & Netflix to retro gaming & streamed games this is the device to get. Definitely worth the extra cost. As of right now (and three years ago) this is that device to get. Just sad nobody can compete after so much time has passed since it's initial release 3 years ago!

I purchased this product to be used as a media streaming device and retro arcade. It has exceeded my expectations for both. It easily connects to my media over our home network; via a usb connected to our router. IIt has streamed to 3 different TV's at the same time with no issues.

Great device. Very fast. Not only apps that support it but also Chromecast support which allows ur options to be almost endless. Only complaint is there are some apps not supported. New Hulu app is not updated so some shows can only be watched through casting

I decided to buy a nvidia shield after my amazon fire stick was buffering to much and downloading took a long time. This is a must if you stream . I was also pleasantly surprised that it also had a intergrated CROMECAST. I paid $139 for it but it is well worth it.

Although I have a new Sony 900F with Android TV built in I still prefer to have a dedicated media box that's faster and has more memory than the TV. This is my second NVIDIA Shield TV. The first serves the same purpose in the living room with a two year old 65 inch Sony TV.

Worth every penny, google voice,android platform,kodi caplable will buy anotherone for a gift!

This is the second one i have purchased. this is one of the top rated tv boxes on the market. Runs flawlessly and fast. Going to make a great addition to the man cave. Waiting for them to pack more RAM in these boxes. I will defiantly purchase another one.

The Nvidia Shield Android TV streaming box offers just about every must-have app, including Amazon Video, and many include 4K along with HDR. It's a versatile gaming platform and amazing for emulation.

As I write this review nearly two years later, I am still impressed by this device. It is fast, and can play anything you throw at it. Ditch the cheap and laggy sticks, and pick up an nvidia shield.

This box is awesome and has plenty of power to do anything you want to with it. It streams all my programs and show perfectly. Also works great using wi/fi or hard wired internet. Awesome box.

Very good streaming devise and essay to use. Only negative which many others also have stated is the volume control lb the remote is very touchy and difficult to be precise with volume. Also it is small and very slippery, so we took some cloth type tape and placed it on the backside of the control. Now it is great: no slipping or dropping where it is set and far easier to handle. Otherwise,threw control is very well designed.

I had another box before which worked nowhere near as well as this. In terms of performance it does an excellent job with emulators for video game systems as well as its own games and of course for streaming media from the internet or network attached storage.

What can i say? The best...Want to stream your stuff? cut cable? forget Fire Stick, Roku, Please...NVIDIA Shield TV is KING, and now with the PRO out...If u can get a hand on it, get it...u wont look back...

Absolutely love the Nvidia Shield. It’s been the best all in one device I could’ve ever asked for. We can stream anything we want, game the same games you find on Xbox or PlayStation and even Store our family photos. Well worth the price tag!

This is my second shield TV. I bought this for my daughter to replace her seriously out dated and slow Amazon fire stick. She has Kodi and Amazon music for all of entertainment needs. This is one of the best and fastest Android boxes on the market.

Love this thing. Streams whatever i need to watch 2ith ease and great picture. My smart TV is an older generation, so this comes in handy if I want to watch episodes from my phone or a streaming service.

Hands down, the best platform for streaming. It’s fast, easy to navigate, and customizable. It is definitely a big price jump from the other options out there, but so worth it! You won’t be disappointed, if you are looking at cutting the cord.

I loved the screen on my big screen TV, but it's processor was too slow for the new streaming offerings. With the Nvidia I now have wonderful performance, a better selection of programming and didn't have to replace my older big screen TV.

Why did I wait so long in getting one of these? This thing blows away any RaspberryPi with Kodi away, 10x's better than using Roku with . Plex. This machine does a lot more than just play your personal media, its powerful gaming machine too
