This is one of the most powerful android streaming box on the market that can handle HDR DOLBY ATMOS 4K top with gaming and all the digital input and output for your future home theater setup or just a simple dome room and even just family use .

This is my second one and all I can say is the best the fastest and the more fast experience I have had with Android boxes and I have own lots of them about 12 different ones already and am stuck to the Nvidia shield the best hands down

If you're looking for the best streaming box for your home theater, this is the one. Pricier than most, but no comparison. I have others (Fire TV stick, MiBox, etc) and the Nvidia is snappier, so far zero problems, handles everything you throw at it.

I purchased this in order to cancel my ridiculous cable bill. I've had it for just over a month, and now get THOUSANDS of channels on Iptv that I didn't have before for 1/5 th the cost of DirecTV. Goodbye cable FOREVER!!

I had tried several other android boxes and they were either slow or dropped signal. Granted they were cheaper priced. A friend talked me into getting this box because he had it and loved it. Cost three times as much but works 100 times better.

I had the Mi Box 3 for about a year but since the latest update, it affected many things and has ran buggy since then. I got tired of it and finally got this. It is awesome and handles anything I throw at it! Plays 4k movies flawlessly.

I previously had a Sony TV with Android built in and loved it. But when then TV broke I decided against another Sony so I purchased this Shield. To my surprise it is exactly the same interface as the TV was. Hey Shield. I love you.

Currently using on a non-smart led tv. I have an android 4k tv and I think this is even better for way less! It feels more user-friendly and is easier to update. Almost wish I would've gotten this before the android tv!

This console was easy to install. It worked well on the very first attempt to use it. I was surprised by the ease of use right from the start. It offers many movies, tv programs and games. I am very happy with this choice.

I have a Sony 4K TV with android tv operating system and it does well. The Shield TV is also android tv OS but it is so much more powerful and runs everything faster and more reliably. Plus it works better for streaming 4K with Plex!

Still the best streaming box on the market, years after it's introduction despite having any real evolutionary improvements over the years. This little box will do everything you want it to do. Android apps, games including AAA titles. It will mirror PC gaming from a PC with nvidia GPU... The controller is very nice and equal to any game console. The remote is simple and does exactly what it needs to do. USB ports allow you to connect local storage space and play from there. It even allows itself to be a Plex server. Best streaming box in a landslide. I've tried SO many different streaming boxes and continue to return to the ShieldTV.

If you watch any kind of straming TV, like Netflix, Amazon prime, Plex, CBS on demand, etc, this is the device for you. Very fast and easy to use. You can also play games, old and new. I highly recommend this device.

This little box can play any video file type you throw at it. Love it! From 4K Blu-ray mts files to h265 mkv files. If you have a video file to stream or play off an external hard drive, it can do it with ease.

best TV streaming device,It has Netflix and Amazon streaming apps, You can stream from any device on your network. Interface is better than Fire TV, I have seen no buffering while streaming anything on this device.

I was really looking for a media player that would allow me to hook up an external hard drive and play my videos from there. In the past, I had bought Western Digital media players, but unfortunately, those are no longer being produced. I was leery about purchasing this due to the price and I wasn’t sure it was going to do what I wanted to. In the end, I gave in and am glad I did. So basically, you go onto the Google play store and can download the usual streaming apps such as YouTube, Hulu, Netflix, etc. I was also able to download VLC which allows me to play my hard drive videos, so I was extremely happy. A Google Chromecast is also built into the unit which was definitely another plus.
