This little guy is perfect for streaming anything from YouTube to Netflix and everything in-between. Plenty of games come loaded on it, but I don't really play them. Thumbs up from me!

NVIdia claims to be able to connect directly to Netflix’s server. It must as I’m able to stream 4K even over DSL. Clearly able to stream reliably over AT&T LTE. 4K looks great and NVIdia preloads free streaming site KODI!

Great gift for any movie lover best media box in the market

Have used several other streaming boxes. The shield beats them all by a large margin. Easy to use, reliable, and I have yet to have a problem streaming Netflix. I can't say the same for the competition!

Easy set up, extremely fast and love the automatic updates.

This thing is a beast. I use firesticks mostly but this blows those away. If you do your research, you can get a lot out of this. Its one of the best purchases I have ever made

The Nvidia Shield is the perfect item for cord cutters. You can stream movies and tv and also use Kodi. Nvidia keeps the unit updated and routinely adds new features as needed. Highly recommended unit.

One of the best purchases I’ve made this year thus far. Easy setup and the options are endless. If your looking for a premium android box this is it. My only regret is that I should’ve purchased it long ago.

I tried one of the other Android TV boxes and wound up bricking it. The Nvidia is the best. Hands down a solid performer. I don't use the gaming but the features and functionality are top of class.

I'm not one to write reviews but I must say if you stream alot this is the box an the one thing that I learned about was that you can play your PC steam games on here this box is amazing

The centerpiece of any home media center. High quality streaming device with a low profile. Its reliable and metal remote fits very nicely in your hand. The Shield is a must for cord-cutters!

It's probably good for gaming. Not so much as a IPTV the only positive is that it has google’s Android tv software. The remote by it self does not work you will require the game controller. Not worth the 129$ price tag their are cheaper and better options available.

Best android tv box on the market. Cut my Television bill way down. Free streaming apps and cheap iptv. Well worth the cv intial purchase justvan yiur first month of getting rid of cable tv

In use on our main TV and it’s perfomance is far greater than and other Android box available. Unlike the competition this unit does everything it claims to do and more. Worth every penny!

This is amazing but if you can get your hands on the updated model I’d go with that . Either way this older model is still amazing for the money .

If you’re looking for the media streaming box that can play anything you throw at it, look no further! The Shield TV is a beast! I use it in conjunction with my Plex media server and it plays everything in my library in their raw original format. The Shield TV is the ONLY media streaming device that can pass through ALL audio formats. Including Atmos and DTS X. On the video side? It has an Nvidia GPU. Need I say more? The only drawback is that Android TV doesn’t have the streaming channel library that some of the more mainstream platforms (Roku) do. So ideally you would have a Roku Ultra and a Shield TV to cover all of your bases.

I have a couple of Nvidia shields connected to my TVs throughout the house. I get TV through a Silicon Dust cable card tuner. So I pay no rental fees to the cable company. This has been working very well although the last Nvidia update has caused some problems. Still for smart TV functions on a 4K TV this is the most powerful streaming device and has been for a while. Maybe if you want to stay with Apple products this is not your device. But if your a Android user this is your streaming device. And Nvidia keeps it updated with new features. It's not the lowest cost of the big streamers but it has the power for games and movies and tie in to Google that isn't matched by any other device.

This is my third streaming box and the best one yet. Very fast download speeds and instant response. The remote was a little tricky at first but soon got use to it. Works great with 4k also.

This thing is awesome. Great streaming box, easy to use, and I did not buy the game controller which I wished I did. I have been playing a ton of games on it way more than I expected.
