There's a lot more you can do with this by a long shot. Like that can sideload Android apps, stream from most major services, and use a VPN with this. Wish Hulu would update their app for Android TV.

I did not have any significant difference from my Firebox so I returned it. If you don't already have a streaming box then this is a great option if you don't mind the price.

Great for what it is
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am using as a Plex server and while it works for the most part, when there is an issue there is no way to remotely restart the device nor with Plex auto start on boot up. It’s a great device for streaming, but a computer would be better as a Plex server.

Perfect for DVR

While this runs in the background for all my DVR needs, I do think the device is robust and it is certainly flexible depending on whatever the use case is. I prefer Apple TV's UI and functionality and hence my reason to use this as the secondary device. For my use case, it certainly holds as the system does run 24x7 without ever turning OFF. Anytime I switch from Apple TV, always ready without a lag.
