The Shield is great for those who have great internet speeds and aren’t worried too much about latency issues. With only two USB ports I would recommend getting a usb splitter and adding more ports externally. I mostly use a controller but mouse and keyboard also work. The UI is a little unintuitive and there are definitely cheaper options if you’re simply looking for a media streamer

I had this for a few years now and I recently got another one. The shield is the best android TV out. You can do so many things, way better than a fire stick. Treat yourself if you are looking.

This box is fantastic and it’s amazing how well game stream works. I have this in my sons bedroom and he streams games from his gaming PC in another room with the same performance as if he was working directly on the gaming PC.

Easy install and configuration. Great signal strength. Great security features.

Super easy to setup. The best feature is that I can direct play videos to my tv from the pc in plex. It does not convert video or audio like the roku ultra does. Also you dont get the HDCP 2.2 error like the ultra. It just always works.

If you want the best media streamer on the market, buy this one. Interface is super snappy and it supports pretty much every streaming service. Also supports Plex serving and being a Samsung SmartThings hub with the addon USB stick.

I started out first using the Firestick and I was pleased in the beginning. But as I started to learn more at what this could do. It was Amazing. This is my second one and I'm getting 2 more for christmas for my Kids.

This TV box is really quick at loading things to the screen. I love the remote for volume...it's a quick slide touch feature that I have not seen yet. This box is super user-friendly and overall a great investment.

Had 2 fire TV's and besides the constant buffering neither one lasted more than a year. The Shield tv has been great, no more buffering. Will see how long it lasts, been a little over a year now.

Cut cable and dish and got this shield. Works off the wifi or can be plugged directly into router. We are now streaming TV with channels we never had before and channels from all over the world, no jailbreak or root needed.

Performance is exactly as advertised. Only wish it had a micro SD port.

Very capable for streaming HD content in 5.1 (or greater) surround systems. Excellent with KODI or other HD content providers. My only gripe is that nVidia should have included the vertical stand in the box.

Great device for everyday streaming, gaming and emulation. I would keep this over upgrading personally, unless most of your content needs to be upscaled for 4k output.

This is the best streaming device in the world especially if you have movies, music, or tv shows on an external or usb drive that you want a nice organized view of using Plex media server. It's the best!

The BEST Android TV device hands down. Has the computing power to deliver 4k/HDR video as well as bitstream HD Audio. It also has Geforce Now for gaming and supports Steam Link. Great device!

i have roku 4k, fire hd, fire 4k, chrome, i would say this is the best so far. firmware is being updated constantly, built on android so i can have kodi. very small foot print. you can't be wrong on this one

I took this fantastic piece and it turns out it has better features than apple. I can install Kodi and get a variety of content. It works better especially with the controller for games such as Forsa.
