I own three of them. Can't tell you how much I am pleased to use them. Best out there no doubt. I use it for my TV over IP and mult apps as well as online gaming. Buy with remote and gaming console as it is cheaper than going back to buy the gaming console separately. Plus you can use it to control TV, apps as well.

Great streaming and game playing system. Simple to use.

We use our Shield Tv all the time. We watch Twitch and stream from apps like Netflix and Hulu. Our favorite use for our Shield Tv, though, is using it to stream video games from our PC desktop to our family room tv. Nothing like playing some of our favorite PC games on a larger screen from the comfort of our couch.

I have owned almost all of the steaming media devices available on the market, except the Apple TV. This is by far the most powerful. When streaming HDR from my server, this NEVER buffers. It plays both video and audio to perfection. Well worth the premium price if you are streaming from a local server.

Amazing streaming device. We came from the original fire TV stick and omg this is equivalent of driving a beat down 97 Corolla and getting a new 2018 Benz. It runs extremely smooth and plays everything without issues. I have it setup to stream locally from my NAS and Terrarium TV. Overall this device is worth the price

I have purchased 2 Nvidia media players. Only because this product was worth it. The wifi connection is solid and the ios is fast. I have purchased other media players prior to Nvidia and i after discovering Nvidia there will be no other! I highly recommend this product to anyone who enjoys their media on their TV screens

This is without a doubt the best streaming device ever made. I have used a Roku and I have a couple of amazon streaming devices as well so I'm writing from experience. It is quite pricey but worth it. if you're loooking for the best streamer, here it is!

I absolutely love my Nvidia Shield. I have had it for almost two years now and it’s still going strong. It pairs great with my Denon receiver passing through Dolby Atmos audio. The only con I would say is that the remote isn’t the best it could be.

I bought this to replace an ancient, underpowered laptop, that I had been running as a Plex server. Wow, HUGE difference! One thing to know is that if you are using it for a Plex server, and do not have a NAS, you will need to connect directly to the usb ports on the shield.

I think so, at least for Plex, it is the best device. I have tried pretty much every streaming device in the market and the shield is the top on most categories. It has never frozen and is able to reproduce any video i put through. If you can get it at a discount even better.

My upgrade from MI BOX. The sheild is super fast and it has Amazon Prime Video which the MI BOX doesn't so no more switching back to my Roku for that. Bought this one for my mom. Only thing wrong with it is that the USB ports are too close together for SanDisk thumb drives.

The NVIDIA Shield is the best media player on the market. We've tried them all in ckuding Roku and the Amazon Fire Stick. The Shield outperforms them all. It's really easy to add apps and navigate the platform. Chromecast is another fantastic feature.
