The controller has an excellent response time between using bluetooth or the cord. Overall for the price it feels like a premium controller with very little flex comparing to different controllers at the same price range. Now that being said I have only had the controller for a couple of days now and the bluetooth function has already stopped working. After reading others reviews this is pretty common and I did suspect that it would happen. But not so soon. It still works fine corded. However the purpose of this controller is to be "wireless". So I will be returning this item and will only recommend as a good corded controller when its on sale. Otherwise it's not worth the hassle.

Quality Downgrades for the new Shield
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The new controller, much like the rest of the new 2017 Shield, feels light, plastic, and cheaply made. The one improvement I can name is the addition of a touch-sensitive volume slider to the middle, as opposed to physical volume buttons. It still will not interface with Windows PCs without (technically unnecessary) new Nvidia video cards. It does allow renaming of the controller now, but that's more of a feature of the new Shield than the controller itself.
