Q: Can I use it like a game pad. I want to play Myst on my TV but it says I have to have a game pad.

A: This will work with Android TV and most Android games. Though some games on Google Play Store lacked full compatibility. This controller can also be mapped to windows. Saying you want to play on tv is pretty vague. If you provide the platform or operating system where you are playing the game from, it would help answer your question.

Q: Does this work with pc and or with the xbox one? Because I love the look of the controller But I don't wanna waste money on a controller I cannot use for my main gaming platform such as pc What does it require to use on pc if it is pc compatible?

A: Yes! it does work on PC (That's why I also bought it). But you would need to have an NVIDIA GPU for it to work. It won't allow you to use it with AMD graphics cards unfortunately.

Q: When I try playing games on gforce with my shield controller nothing seems to work. I can't move in any direction, run, jump, crouch, change weapons yada, yada, yada. What do I need to do to make it work with first person shooter GAMES? HELP!

A: Depending on what system and service you're using, you may need to go into the settings and configure the controller. From my experience, I've found three different places where, depending on the game, I may have to adjust those settings. 1) The games settings. 2) Steam controls settings 3) GeForce settings. For some games, depending on what provider the games are coming from, you may need to switch the controls settings from keyboard to gamepad, then configure the controller. For example, when I downloaded "Wreckfest" through steam on Nvidia Shield pro, using the Nvidia Gforce gamepad, once the game starts the controller worked immediately I didn't have to change anything. I did however choose to change some of the buttons to meet my personal preferences for controlling throttle, brakes, E-brake, camera angles etc. But that certainly wasn't necessary to play the game, it was just personal preference. But, for "Beam.ng" I had to go into the settings and switch the control from "keyboard" to "gamepad", then configure the GamePad. (which the system recognizes as "Xbox gamepad controller" instead of Nvidia gforce...) There are way more functions for this game than there are buttons on ANY gamepad I've seen, so you can do the primary functions with a gamepad, and still keep a keyboard & mouse nearby for the extra, less frequently used functions. So far, for most every game I've played through Nvidia Shield pro, using the Nvidia gamepad, the first step or two before starting the game required the use of a mouse. But it seems that the games that were primarily designed for consoles, once they start, the gamepad does everything needed, and does it well. But for games that were designed for PC using keyboard only for control, they've required a bit more settings adjustments, to A) even recognize the GamePad, to B) changing settings in multiple places, (game settings, steam settings etc.) and using additional hardware for control, such as mouse and keyboard. I hope this ...long & complicated answer helps your situation.

Q: Does this game controller work with Amazon's Fire TV?

A: yes i would say so.. does on mine anyways..

Q: Are the buttons clicky (mechanical)? In other words is there a definite "click" when the buttons trigger or do you push them down and there's no tactile click?

A: The buttons on this controller are not clicky, like a mechanical keyboard or devices with distinct switches. They are firm membrane switches, and feel like new membrane keyboard buttons. They get less firm over time, and can begin to feel like Xbox 360 buttons after a year of heavy use.

Q: Does this controller work on iPad to play Fortnite?

A: No. It can work on pc, but has to be plugged in via usb. But no on iPads.

Q: Does this controller work with a ps4?

A: No, this item does not work with the PS4 system.
