It has a quality feel, obvious that much consumer testing went into the design. The weight is just right, not too light or heavy. Thankfully, my wife took the hint and got me one for Christmas.

However, this game controller lacks a touchpad and most importantly lacks the ability to use voice chat in game. As per NVidia's Knowledge Base Article: "Like other gaming consoles, SHIELD TV does not support mic on Bluetooth headsets due to latency/audio issues with the standard Bluetooth protocol. We will look into trying to fix this in future software updates." I would not have purchased this product had I known this information beforehand. This is definitely something that should be displayed with the product as the "built in microphone" feature is quite deceptive in that it cannot be used for gaming.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.horrible experience, poor product. loved my shield tv until i decided to upgrade controllers. constant drift left or up on the y and x axis. it will scroll across my home screen like it is possessed. i can’t use either of mine to even navigate the menus of my shield. i have to actually take them (yes both of my 2 controllers behave this way) to another room in order to operate the remote control without constant input from the controller. i hate it, so frustrating actually worse than owning nothing how is that possible. two for two 100% failure rate, not a happy camper.
