    Keeps controllers organized

I started out with the play and charge then realized you have to leave the console on to charge the controller. And I was tired of my kids burning through AA batteries even though they had the play and charge. Then I found this product. Just lay the charges in the cradle and it charges. Very clean and easy, no more wires. No issue with the battery charge – we just set the controller on it when we are done. Liked it so much bought another one to handle 4 controllers.

Must have accessory for the Xbox 360

Got this on sale for $20 which made is a fantastic buy. It is still a value at normal price because of the ease and simplicity of charging Xbox 360 controllers when not in use and the ongoing savings of batteries. The rechargeable batteries are very good and after about 3+ years of use I am going to replace my first set. My son, daughter, and myself each have one of these accessories. Only my son might play long enough in one sitting to exhaust a battery. Other than that, when I am done playing if the battery is 2 out of 4 bars, I just drop it on the charger and it is ready for use the next time I play. The only quibble I have, and it is MINOR, is that it is unreliable to just charge the battery by itself (meaning not connected to a controller). It can be done, but the battery isn't heavy enough to stay on the charger consistently by itself. However, as I said....it is a very minor quibble and not worthy of removing even 1/2 a star. The only other thing I could mention is that they are black. So if you have black controllers, they match perfectly. If you have white, or special edition controllers they obviously will not match, but since the controller is sitting in your hands the only impact is cosmetic (not functional). Excellent product and value for its normal price. When on sale it is a must buy.

About as easy to use as it gets...

We've had this Nyko charge system for over two years and have had ZERO PROBLEMS with it. Battery life was great - my son and his friends are moderate users and the batteries would easily last a week or more. Never really tried to measure it but I would guess 15 to 20 hours of continuous use. We rarely let them get to the dead state as it was so easy to just drop them in the cradle, the light comes on in a moment so you know it's charging. I really can't say enough about how easy this is to use... no cables to connect, nothing to snap in place. Gravity just holds the controllers in the cradle. I've seen the Energizer charger and you have to plug the controllers into ports and the controller is hanging there by the socket... a recipe for a broken socket or charger in my opinion. I'm bummed I have to buy a new one now as the old one was on the floor when our basement flooded and it no longer works... When we get the next game system I hope to find Nyko producing a similar charge station - I'll buy it without hesitation.

Dont waste you money on Play/Charge kit

This Charging station comes with 2 batteries and a charging station that charges two batteries at the same time. The station plugs into the wall so it is much faster at charging than the USB Play and Charge kit offered by microsoft. The battery life of the battery is amazing! For one battery, it lasted a good 20+ hours. I would recommend this product to someone who wants to save money on AA batteries and people who had bad experiences with the Microsoft Play and Charge kit.

I bought this as part of a package deal with my xbox. Just replace the battery pack from the controller and drop it in the base to charge, battery lasts about 15 hours from what I could tell. Even though I could get batteries for free I do not regret purchasing this charge base/pack for the ease of use.

All i have to say is i love this charging dock. the rechargable batteries are included. the pop right into the back of the controller and slide the controller right into the dock. the batteries have metal slots on the back of the battery and thats how it recharges. not to mention when you slide the controller into the dock a indicator light shows you the life of the battery and it stops charging when it reaches the full charge. Like i said, its a great product and i love it.

    One of my favorite accessories

This charger for my wireless remotes came bundled in the Xbox 360 kit that I purchased new. It's completely easy to use, you simply drop the controllers right in and they charge. It has a convenient shut off once the controllers are charged so that it's not constantly drawing the power and trying to charge the fully charged controllers. I set it on top of my home theater's subwoofer box and it almost looks like a decoration for the room instead of an accessory for my gaming system. I'd recommend this to anyone who owns or is considering purchasing wireless controllers.

This charger/battery combo is amazing! The charge indicators are easy to understand, and not so bright that they keep my wife up at night like some other chargers I've had. Incredibly quick charge, although I've yet to actually wear the batteries down to empty. I've gone for six hour or more marathon games with friends and it barely put a dent in the rechargeable batteries. I would highly recommend this product, it's extremely effective and a great value for the price!

Lose the batteries, pick these up!

Bought this unit a couple days ago for my 360 controllers. I was tired of having to change the batteries every other week or so. I found that I could probably get like 20 hours or so out of two batteries. My friend suggested I pick up one of Nyko's rechargeable battery packs for my controllers. It's a cool little device, with a LED display that shows which slot is being used and how much the battery is charged. The only thing I don't like about it is, that if you want to charge both battery packs, you have to have two controllers. I only have one controller so it's hard to charge the spare pack if my primary one dies. I've tried taping the battery pack in the charging unit to get it to charge but it doesn't seem to work. It relies on the weight of the controller to align the connectors. Overall, it's worth the money because you don't have to keep buying batteries which in the long run can be very costly. I suggest buying this if you have two controllers but if you only have one, look for the Microsoft one that allows you to charge one pack and then purchase an additional battery pack.

Never buy batteries again. No more cords. No more stressing out looking for your charging cable because your controller shut off in the middle of a game. This charger is great! Comes with 2 rechargeable packs that are easily connected to your controllers. They charge up very quickly and I can lay half the day away and not even be below half charge. And it looks great. Would defiantly recommend this to everyone who owns an Xbox and uses wireless controllers.

With 4 controllers, we were zipping through alkaline batteries like crazy. Got this for my son for Christmas, and he LOVES it. He says the charge lasts longer than the replaceable batteries.

Keeps batteries charged just by placing controller on base. Goes off automatically when batteries are charged. Extra input for headset charge is nice bonus. Works great.

    Awesome Charge Dock

Overall this is a great product! The charge times are really quick and the batteries last for quite a while. The color matches the black XBOX 360 controllers and the battery packs fit nicely into the battery slot. It's also a nice looking unit. There are only two things I'd have to borderline complain about. First, this product seems a little pricey, although it doesn't seem like any other units are much cheaper. Now this may sound odd but when I unpackaged this thing it smelled bad. It had this terrible plastic-like smell to it... I'm not really sure why but it was kinda weird. The smell is almost gone now though and I wouldn't let it discourage you from buying this item.
