Brings GameCube controllers back from the grave

It will take up 2 of the 3 USB ports you have when the Switch is docked, if you want all 4 to work and have rumble. But the black USB is all you need for data, so I got an old USB charger for the grey cord. Some games don’t work with the GameCube controllers, but that’s not the fault of this adapter.

Great Switch add-on for old GameCube owners

I highly recommend this especially for Super Smash Bros. Install was easy and it works great. If you are already using one of the USB ports on the Switch dock, you can buy a cheap USB 3.0 hub to plug in both USB cables from this accessory. The extra USB cable from this is device enables rumble on your GameCube controller.

GREAT!! But if you have a third party dock...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This thing works great!! Just know that it uses two USB outlets on your switch dock to function. If you’re using a third-party dock that only has one USB outlet, such as the Insignia dock, just know that the black USB is for data so that’s the one you need to plug into the dock and the grey USB is for power so plug that into a USB wall outlet! I had to do this and it works great!!
