A beautiful game, amazing music and the story is so good.

If you are looking for a traditional RPG game, try this game. You are also able to get secondary classes for your heroes. You pick a primary hero, then find the rest. You can't swap out your main pick in the team. Each hero has their own main story. If you've been thinking about getting the game, just get it.

I am a huge fan of current Gen games and graphics. However, octopath takes you back to an era of greatness and keeps it current. The content and fighting style of octopath is that of retro final fantasy turn based with in depth rpg elements. I strongly recommend this buy if you want to take a nostalgic trip that some how feels new.

The turn based style of combat is fun and refreshing. I’m about 20 hours into the game, but it’s clear I have a long way to still go. I thought about rating this 4 stars, just because the stories of our octopath travelers are quite cliche so far. But the combat system is so good, the story lines are forgiveable. Highly recommend!!

I love this game. Reminds me of old school final fantasy with turn based combat and a Break mechanic which allows you to stun enemies provides you know their weaknesses. Gorgeous presentation with 2D sprites in a 3D-like environment and seems to be easily 40-60 hours long, probably longer. Well worth it from what I’ve seen so far.

Wow! This game is a fantastic exhibition of an old style of gaming. I got this game for it's normal price of $ 60.00 and don't regret the purchase at all. Octopath Traveler takes and old formula of programming and beautifully reinvents the tried and true formula.

Fantastic addition to the switch I don't think anyone is gonna forget. Old school style mixed with new Square Enix RPG flare similar to Bravely Default. The characters are great with amazing interactions with each other and the world you travel. Highly recommend to fans of Final Fantasy and Bravely Default alike!

This game is so fun. If you like old-school final fantasy style games you will enjoy this one. The class mastery system is like FF Tactics and the grind to level your abilities is usually pretty enjoyable. Hours of epic journey you will definitely enjoy.

Worthy add to the Switch collection, turn based RPG, retro like graphics and a solid story. Can easily spend near 50 hrs or more in this game.

Good graphics and classic gameplay with good story.

The battle system is great. The turn based battles are fun and engaging. Unfortunately, the one problem is the dialogue is boring and drags on.

This game is a great game if you're a fan on JRPG's and are looking for that classic 2D SNES era RPG. The graphics look great and the characters are a lot of fun. They offer a 3 hour demo on the Nintendo store that lets you roll right into the game with your save data. I think its a great game so far with fun combat.

This game was great at first. I found the gameplay and most of the eight stories to be unique at first but as the game progressed it became super repetitive. Each story is pretty much the same; story element, do your character special action once then go to a dungeon. This game was a great idea and I’d like to see where this franchise goes and hope the developers can improve the formula in futures games if they choose to make any.
