This game is by far one of the best old school RPG’s I’ve played. If you like the Bravely Default games from the 3DS, you definitely love this game and the stories of the 8 different party members.

I'm not fan of the Mario games but this game got me hooked with old school turn based battle and awesome visual which is partial 2d and 3d. Belive me you will love this game who ever you are.

This game is so much fun. If you love RPGs you will enjoy this game. Multiple stories and good character development. You could play this game for hours or just pick it up from time to time.

This game is a mix of old school rpg, with some new school mechanics. A lot of gameplay with 8 individual characters having their own story arcs. Graphics are absolutely beautiful.

In what was a great change, square-enix finally went back to the style that gained them popularity in the old days. Going back to their roots, squareenix manages to find that old rpg magic once more

The old school RPG meets new school multiple role story. It works out perfect, and you can either choose to play through with one class or go back and forth between them all to get more gameplay value.

It's just a superb game. The story structure might not be for everyone but I certainly enjoyed it for what it was. Turn based combat is usually hit or miss for me and it was definitely a big hit here!

100 hour plus game and cool throw back to Japan RPG. I’m still playing. Soundtrack and I think part two is coming out so I’m hype.

If you like JRPGs, this is a great game for the switch. The story isn't a grand arc to save the world, which is actually kind of refreshing. There is a demo on the eShop if you are still on the fence.

I'm not big into RPGs but ever since this game was announced I knew I had to pick it up as soon as I bought a Switch.

Such an enjoyable game i got many hours just out of the initial story and you can play full stories for all the characters, recommended for any RPG fan especially fans of the classic style

Anybody who has a Nintendo Switch needs to play this game. It is very fun and if you love RPG's then you are going to really like this game. Music is super great. Can be little hard on grinding.

If you're having an itch to play a classic style rpg this is the game to get. Graphics are great, voice acting is amazing and the gameplay is just right so it's not a stomp or it's not a grind fest

Game is done beautifully and is fun to play. Unlike other games that are done in days , this game can be played through multiple times with a new / different feel each time.

If you loved any of the popular JRPG’s from the 90’s you’ll love this game and it’s gorgeous visuals. It goes to show that theirs plenty of support for JRPG titles like this in the gaming market.

I haven't beaten the game yet. The story is awesome. You get to play as 8 different characters with interconnected stories. I love it! Highly recommend if you are into old turn based RPGs

Octopath Traveler is a great JRPG made from the team that brought us the Bravely series. I whole heartedly recommend this game to anyone who wants a classic sprite based JRPG from Square again.

One of the best JRPGs I have played, there is so much content. If you liked final fantasy this is a great alternative to the game as it is turn based and has great RPG elements to it.

This game is a fun and engaging JRPG. I haven't played the game that long but from what I have I really like it and it has a great story! This game is great as a handheld or on the big screen.
