This game may look 8-bit but the graphics are fantastic. If you like the old FF games you'll like this game. Great storyline and you won't be finishing this in 10 hrs like most games.

At first I was a little skeptical about the story and how it all connects together but it's safe to say I'm having a lot of fun with it. It has a few problems but its overall amazing!

If u need a reason to grab a switch, this is it. To me, the only RPGs in existence r JRPGs. Western ones r all trash. Anyway, if ur a JRPG nut then give this a go. I cant put it down

Despite the simple pixel look of the game, Octopath traveler has so much charm and solid gameplay making it a great time if your looking for something new on your Nintendo switch

My daughter wanted this game so bad. She has been playing it non-stop. She says its like 8 different stories. She's very pleased with it.

Octopath Traveler has been a blast to play! While I haven’t beaten in yet, it definitely is one of the best RPGs available on the Switch. If you’re at all interested, get this game

After playing both demo versions that SquareEnix put out, I just HAD to pre-order this game, jumping right into it when it released. It is quite fun and is visually great as well

Everything about this game is beautiful - the world and characters are wonderfully original, and their stories moving. It's a truly great addition to any RPG collection.

One of the best game on Switch. Watched reviews on YouTube and everywhere else, and they say it's all great. Square-Enix have definitely brought back the classic type RBG game.

Beautiful artwork, music, and storytelling. Don't expect a hardcore/old school RPG though. Combat is fairly simplified. Go into this with an open mind and just enjoy the stories.

The detailed backgrounds and 8-bit characters are very appealing. The combat is easy to get into and yet not too simple to bore you. A great game to have with you on long trips.

I enjoy the story of the game, challenging but fun

For those that grew up on FF 2 & 3 on the SNES this is a great throw back. Can be a bit repetitive at times but still very enjoyable to play through all the different 8 stories.

Game was very enjoyable. All eight characters are well developed and each has a unique and interesting story. Very highly recommended for anyone who enjoys these types of games.

I love old school RPGs and this scratches that itch perfectly while introducing some new things along with some of the most stunning updated old graphics... if that's a thing.

Fun game so far. Enjoy the different characters. I don't recall playing a game quite like this one. Looking forward to playing it all the way through.

Loses one star for a few issues, such as no connecting story for all the characters. I also miss the lack of customization, characters only change when their second job changes. Still a lot of fun, and really makes me miss the glory days of JRPGs when the art felt like it took effort and the uniqueness of the game.

I never played a turn based RPG let alone a JRPG. This might seem like a bit expensive indie game but Square Enid nailed the game giving you a exciting and rewarding game.

This is a must buy for anyone who can appreciate JRPGs. This pushes the boundaries of turn based combat to evolve it and breathes new life into genre and combat system style
