This game feels like a natural progression of the 16-bit era jrpg, final fantasy to be specific. The aesthetic is excellent and the gameplay is deep and rewarding. Awesome.

There's nothing to be said that hasn't already been said for this game. The game play opens up once you play a few hours but after that it becomes a very enjoyable game.

in the vein of old SNES or PS style RPGs, Octopath does a great job mixing familiar combat with interesting stories. The visuals are also hyper-stylized and fun to look at.

You won’t regret buying this game. I’ve been an avid RPG fan since Final Fantasy 3 came out, and this game is going into the top 10 of my favorite RPG’s.

The battle system is very good out of all the other games in the same genre. But the game tanks a bit in the story department. Characters play and journey together but no interaction was build into the story of each character. Just 3 side comments pop up during the story for each character.

I finally gave into the hype with this game. I kept hearing good things about it, but i cannot get convince until I played with on friends switch and it was good.

Didn't know much about the game but I picked it up based on the nostalgic look of the gameplay. There's lots of freedom to play how you want to play. Big A ok from me.

This game is incredible-- I love the HD 2D graphics and the old school FFIV feel. I really hope they make more, and I'm sure they will given how well the game sold.

I haven't had as much fun in a jrpg in a long time. It has traditional turn based combat but adds some strategic elements to it with the boosts and monster breaks.

This game is just about perfect. It's an obvious tribute to the classic Squaresoft SNES games of yesteryear and is must have for any veteran Nintendo rpg gamer.

So glad I preordered this game, I have not been able to put this game down. The art style is beautiful and you really get invested in the stories of each characters.

Got this game for my brother since he really liked the demo. He can't say enough good things about it being a classic RPG with some nice modern gaming touches.
