While the game's job system and mechanics are fun, basically Final Fantasy 5 and Bravely Default mashed together, it really seems like a low effort game from a AAA company. I don't mind retro inspired art in games, but this game seems to botch so much that was right with retro JRPGs. All of the NPCs are stationary and just waiting for you to come by and interact with them before they do anything and only maybe half of them are able to be interacted with. Even the 8 main characters don't interact with each other aside from small dialogues between chapters for each character. The combat mechanics and music are great though, but this is more of an RPG Maker title than something Square should have put out.

I absolutely love the gameplay mechanics and story telling. The graphics are pleasing to the eyes as well.

All i can say is this game is a must have for any rpg lovers And especially on-the-go You can taje breaks and play this thing.

If you like old school rpgs like chrono trigger or final fantasy 6, this should be right up your alley. Similar to bravely default.

An enjoyable game for a jrpg fan like myself. Looks and feels like what a 16bit game from the 90s would be like on modern hardware.

It is a great call back to the classic RPGs I played as a young boy. If you like Final Fantasy 4-6 you should check this game out.

This game reminds me of one of my favorite JRPGs of all time - Final Fantasy 6. I grew up on this type RPG, but I do find it hard to back to turn based after being spoiled with various real time battle systems. The artwork and music are amazing, but I find the character development to be a bit lacking at times. Exploration is heavily rewarded, and there are many ways to customize your party with the job systems. If you are feeling nostalgic for a classic JRPG, this game is right up your alley.

Similar to Final Fantasy of old. This game will bring you back to your youth, it was one of my picks for best game of the year.

Still playing the game, it’s fun to unlock each character as they have a story for themselves. Unique and entertaining
