It reminds me of the classic Squaresoft games of the nineties. However, still feels fresh and exciting while playing.

The gameplay is great fun and engaging. The individual stories are good but I was disappointed with the overall narrative.

It's a refreshing take on most modern JRPGs with the gimmick of having the perspective of 8 individual characters. The voice acting can be [unintentionally] comical at times and that would be about my only gripe, but the rest is refreshing!

square enix does awesome things like these every now and then and this one is no exception. Its a masterpiece

Reminisicient of JRPGs of the past. 4 person party. Cool story lines, easy battle systems. 10/10 will play 1000+ hours

Exactly what I expected for a JRPG: Amazing soundtrack, various and different characters, lots of grinding.

Finished the game in about 80 hours, but was immensely into it since day 1, would definitely recommend to any JRPG fan!

If you've played Bravely Default or Bravely Second and enjoyed the boost and job systems present in those games, you'll enjoy this game. If you like 16-bit era Squaresoft JRPGs you'll enjoy this game. There's a lot of content in this one.

Octopath Traveler is one of the reasons to own a switch! It’s also one of the best jrpgs available on any console.

If you grew up playing 16bit RPGs you'll love this one. I've put 50 hours into it and I'm not finished with it.

A great role playing gaming that reminds me of old fashion rpg games, it's amazing and very lengthy. Would recommend.

This game makes me feel like an updated version of Ogre Tactics. Extremely fun and worth the purchase
