The first 10 hours flew by with me singing a lot of its praises. However as the time flew and the grinding drug on I found myself struggling to pick it up and finish. The stories were too independent and could have relied on a more interconnected story to show why this structure is better than a single story. Great to get on a sale to play for a while.

I am really digging Octopath Traveler. I enjoy the old school turn based fighting that FF had before they turned to real time. I also love how each character can be played with a separate storyline or you can have their paths intersect. Such a neat concept!

What caught my attention was the art style, but the gameplay is just as amazing. Such a fun and creative JRPG that is a must own for the Nintendo switch. Excellent music, amazing art style and in-depth combat make it an entertaining game the entire time!

Great RPG if you grew up in the 90's and 00's playing the old Square Final Fantasy, or more recently the Bravely Default series. Would absolutely recommend this as the art style, characters, and story will remind you of the "golden age" of RPG's.

Wow, just wow. This game brings back such nostalgia of the SNES RPG era and engulfs me in a world that I just can't get enough of. The battle mechanics are some of the best I have ever experienced in a game. This game is JRPG heaven - just brilliant!!

Game is reminiscent of the old school games. However this game is very repetitive, and actually kinds drags on. Since I bought it still have not been halfway through the characters story. if you are looking for something to play get it, but there are better Jrpgs out there. Best if you get this game on sale.

I have been waiting for this game for a year and bought in on release day. It is awesome and worth the money, i am going to play it through 8 times. There are a lot of battles if you enjoy it, otherwise the game is full of exploration and intrigue!

I was never really "into" the 16-bit era JRPGs but I do hold a special place in my heart for watching my neighbor complete hours of Final Fantasy III (VI) on the SNES. Now that I have an appreciation, I throughly enjoy this game and the strategy.

This is a great game if you are into JRPG. Works great on Switch and Switch Lite.

One of the best RPGs on the Switch. If you love JRPGs then this is a must get game. So many different options to choose from and you can play this game multiple times and never get tired of it.

Overall interesting characters and solid combat. Could use a bit more depth to the story.

While there are times it doesn't hold your hand, it is still an enjoyable JRPG style game.
