However, as for the game I feel like the below average gameplay provided is not enough to warrant all the hype. I feel the biggest appeal for this game is the fact that it is on the switch. The game consists of eight characters (one of which you start with and is always locked into the party) the story is a bit clunky but I think that is part of the charm, also having different characters in your party seem to have no effect on other characters stories. They still play out while the rest of you characters are just there as mutes. Considering how much they dialed back with this game (combat, character sprites, and voice acting only coming in at some points) I feel they could have done a lot better with connecting a story
