The packaging is a pop up book made to look in the style of the game. The game itself is a decent old school rpg. If you like snes RPG's then its a no brainer.

Finally an RPG comes to the Nintendo switch. I’ve been waiting so long to play a game like this on the Switch I’m so happy I picked up the collectors edition.

The visual in the game is unique and giving a classic feel in the modern time. Gameplay is fun and great to choose from many characters.

What great timing! A huge, wonderful JRPG released during the typical "slow" time of the year. Great gameplay and amazing graphics. An easy recommendation.

The game itself is good, not great(my opinion). Buying it as the Collector's Edition is a personal choice. You do get some decent add ons for the price.

This is, by far, one of the best RPG's I've played in a really long time. Anyone who remembers the SNES era will feel right at home. Highly recommended!

This game has been an absolute blast. While I can understand peoples issues with the grinding, this hits all of the notes I want out of a JRPG game

The game is fantastic and the collector's edition is one of the better ones I purchased. The collector's coin in particular was very good quality.

In every way this game shines. To it’s fresh take on pixel art mixed with lightning and depth perseption style to the countless hours of gameplay!

I have to say this is a good start, I hated it (back in the 90s) but I played the Demo, and I was impressed to realized I actually play 3 hours without noticing. This is could be a good entry level game for someone new for the gender. I have to say that a friend that actually is a veteran of the gender, says that the story is light but still fun to play.

I’m enjoying the game so far, my only gripe with anything is my Wayfarers Edition I had ordered was delivered for Store Pickup. I’m not sure if it was done in manufacturing or what, but the outer protector was pretty scratched up and some of the pop up book pieces were bent the wrong way. Still a great thing to have if you’re a collector like me.

One the most innovative and satisfying collectors editions I own. The 8 pop up book dioramas are so well designed and well crafted I found myself poring over them way more that I thought I would. A beautiful nostalgic touch to a game with a definite nostalgic appeal. Not a full soundtrack, but that seems to be par for the course these days, and the coin is solid and feels weighty and significant. I really can’t stress the delicate beauty of the pop ups enough, though. Really incredible. Way to go Square, keep them coming!

Very reminiscent of Final Fantasy VI (III) back on the Super Nintendo. Stories are fun to play and the game-play so far has been great.

Such a beautiful collector's edition for a beautiful game. I don't even like JRPGs that much, but I couldn't pass this one up.

Wayfarers edition has lots of goodies in it. The game itself is great. Story and characters keep it interesting. Definitely recommend
