I will start off by saying that I have not bought the physical copy of this game, so I don't know what additional pieces the switch version comes with compared to Steam. Omori is a game unlike any I have ever played. I would advise that the less you know about this game before going into it, the better. Without spoiling too much, here is what I'll say: The gameplay is a solid/interesting mix of exploration and turned based combat with some pretty cool/unique battle mechanics thrown in that play on the "emotions" of characters in a sort of rock paper scissors. The combat system is cool and solid, but I would say ultimately NOT the main selling point of the game. This is a game that leans HEAVILY into the charming world, story, and characters, and really makes you care more about them than any other game I've gone through. The story is paced very deliberately in a way that may seem slow at first, but you'll have to trust that it's both necessary and worth it once everything starts to unwind. I have never experienced a more engaging narrative in any media. If you can handle the dark themes and small amounts of horror that are involved, this game is an absolute masterpiece with so much love put into it.

Great game! Love the atmosphere and mystery aspects, really screws with your head. This combined with the rpg aspect was a really nice combo and refresher from the long dialogue segments.

It sucks, I have never played such stupid game. I do not recommend.

Still haven't finished it, but so far the story really pulls you in, Fun and interesting twist on the RPG format, beautiful art style. The pop culture references are quite funny.

Love the game so much there is a lot to do, the add on's were a little bit dissapointing but usually switch games dont have add on's so I can't really complain soundtrack is amazing and theres hours of playtime and multiple endings!! Whenever i'm not at work or school i'm probably playing Omori at this point

It was a Christmas gift for my dear sister and she enjoyed it very much! She's a big fan of horror games so I figured she'd enjoy it and I'm so grateful that despite how late I ordered it, it still arrived in time for Christmas! Mad props to best buy and the delivery driver for working on Christmas eve for this last minute gift for my sister:)

I've heard a lot about this game and I thought the cover looked cool so I wanted to add it to my collection. This physical version comes with a nice instruction booklet. There's an in-game instruction menu but it's not super smooth to navigate so having this detailed breakdown of the combat system is convenient. It also comes with a piece of art in the style of a Polaroid photograph. I've played for a couple hours so far. It hasn't been mind-blowing but it's been a fun experience, it feels more open-ended than I expected. I destroyed the earth.

The game shipped very quickly, ahead of the scheduled date and came in a good condition. The packaging was nice and safe. Haven't been able to play the game yet but so far no dents or scratches
