    Geek Squad trouble shooted my desk top computer

    Cliff trouble shooted my desk top and got it running better. I ended up having to purchaseba new computer because mine was too old. Very pleased with the service i received.

    AS PER USUAL, SETH DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. JUST WISH I HAD ASKED HIM TO MAKE SURE THE PRINTER WAS WORKING. SEEMS LIKE WHEN THE ROUTER WAS INSTALLED (CENTURY LINK) THEY DID NOT PUT THE WI-FI INFO. INTO MY PRINTER. BUT SETH TOOK CARE OF THAT WHEN I ARRANGED FOR HIM TO COME BACK AGAIN.

    Geek Squad Ghost Busters...

    Geek Squad came out and fixed our "Ghost" problem. Our receiver would turn itself on about 5 minutes after it had been shut down for the evening. Our Geek diagnosed and fixed it on his second try. Way better than I could have done.

    The agent was on time and very knowlegeable and patient about my concerns. He assured me that I was not hacked and thoroughly checked all my systems and got them up and running. Helped secure them and installed webroot. Also,showed me how to connect fax and print from laptop.

    I had always gotten excellent geek squad sevice but somehow it changed. I resumed membership at Best Buy along with security and soon neded service on my pc. THE SCHEDULED visit was delayed several times until I vented o a female employee as I left the store in tears. Amazingly, sure enough, she promised a new date, it was kept and the very effecient, cordial and thorough geek squad guy from before CAME as she had promised AND took care of the problem!!!

    The Geek Squad helped set up a new computer and made recommendations on how to attach a 2nd monitor. They helped me get the printers to work and suyggested what to do about battery backup.

    Michael, agent helped me with questions I had & cleaned up my laptop data. We have paid for the Geek Squad for years & use the on line help mostly. In the past 2 years I have only requested in home visit twice on 7/9/22 & 5/22/24 so I am not happy that I would have to pay extra if I need that service again on new contract. Let the others that overuse that service pay more. Keep the $199.99 & only allow say 1 home visit a year without an extra charge.

    Came out to my home checked the issue I had with my PC after taking it into the store for a complete new build but had multiple issues when I got home. He checked it out fixed the problems insanely quick and now it's running perfectly.
