I have always been kind of on the fence about Stryper/Michael Sweet solo recordings. He is an amazing guitarist and an extremely strong vocalist, but often times there are too many ballads for my taste. I had read an interview with Sweet where he said that this release was heavier than normal, so I took a chance on it. He wasn't kidding! This record rocks big time! The production is fantastic and the guitars are blazing throughout. This is definitely my favorite release from him to date.

This is an artist who does not get nearly enough respect and noise in the music world. give it a listen and i'm sure you will agree.

Best Michael Sweet solo project ever and I will say this triumph's all Stryper material with possibly the exception of their last album, Fallen, which is incredible. One Sided War, is just stupendous and the more I think about it, this is his best work and I was there all the way back on To H"ll with the Devil Tour, long time fan. If someone asked me what albums to listen to strictly for production value, this album would be on that list. In the age, shoddy production, loudness wars and compression, the production of this album is stellar. This album just rocks and the musicians working on this album, just fantastic. If your a fan buy this immediately. If you are learning or play guitar, buy this. Buy this album!

Along with Joel Hoekstra of Whitesnake, Will Hunt of Evanescence, Ethan Brosh, John O'Boyle, and Moriah Formica a 15 year old phenom, Michael Sweet of Stryper has put together a hard-hitting album with a variety rarely seen in the music industry. There's a little bit of everything, but most of all, powerful lyrics and talented artists that make One Sided War a must have album you won't want to stop listening to.

Been a Stryper fan since the beginning but never was a big fan of Michael's solo albums since they were a little on the softer side. This album completely changed my mind. It's definitely as hard as any Stryper album, maybe even harder. If you're a fan of heavy guitars, great harmony and melody and fantastic rhythm, you won't be disappointed!

Michael Sweet has put out some great solo albums which have been on the softer side. He usually focuses the harder stuff on Stryper. Not with this album though. This one totally rocks. The lead off track "Bizarre" is the best one and most rocking. Reminds me of Van Halen a bit.

Michael's best and heaviest record ever featuring Will Hunt on the drums and Joel Hoekstra guitar and many other fine players, Michael and the band are sounding incredible bringing the fire and melodic hard rock sound to every song and the message comes through strong.

Michael Sweet has been on a songwriting tear over the last several years! "One Sided War" is some of the best work he's done throughout his entire career, Stryper included! If you love vocals from a genuine SINGER, a wall of loud guitars, wrapped around a positive message, this CD is a MUST HAVE!!!

One Sided War is another great CD by Michael Sweet. It is a great follow up to the I'm Not Your Suicide CD which I really enjoyed. Don't hesitate to buy this one. Great release!

not too long ago i attended a stryper concert which led me to purchase this album. this album is completely another animal as proven on the lead single "radio".

This album rocks! The album as a whole exceeded my expectations. And I had expectations of half an album that rocks hard. The whole album rocks. With ripping leads and galloping riffs it chugged along and stomped.

This album is a hard rocking collection of songs with excellent guitarists Joel Hoekstra and Ethan Bosch. Buy it! You won't be disappointed.

This is an outstanding album. I would put it up there with the best of 2016. Great hits that could be on the radio.

Michhael Sweet goes solo once again and it is very different from the last outing. More metal and more driving music =)

This album if full of great riffs and solos with catchy choruses. A must have for Michael Sweet and Stryper fans.
