There is much to like about this phone: obviously the price, crisp speed and rich display. But in an apparent effort to simplify things, my user flexibility is reduced. Starting with and specifically, eliminating the 3.5mm jack for wired earbuds. One advantage of those earbuds is that I don't have to recharge them. Second, I can keep the phone on charge while talking. (Yeah, yeah, somebody said that's dangerous, but I've seen no evidence of that.) Next, while the DASH charger does deliver impressive speed, that means I have to carry the relatively large AC plug and, worst, its prongs don't fold down. Something most helpful when traveling. Equally bad is that the charging cord only works with USB C plugs on both ends, which means I can't easily jack into the standard USB connection in a car, airplane or bus so how are we to charge when traveling? Also, the charging system doesn't work with any magnetic connectors I can find, something that goes a long way to avoiding wear and tear on the female USB port in the phone. Finally, I find it very difficult to open the SIM card slot. Maybe it's unique to my phone, but frustrating nonetheless. So as I said, some impressive aspects, but I won't buy another (this 8T is a replacement for my 3T, whose battery is shot) until OnePlus starts to think and design for the breadth of users, not just the "gee, that's great and new" technologies.

Oneplus phones are fast. Have 65W fast charging...nice displays and great snapdragon 864 processor.

Got rid of my Samsung S21 and after having every galaxy model since they came out years ago and being loyal to Samsung I made the switch to One plus and what a great move. This phone is definitely the best bang for the buck. Better quality all around I love this phone, the only thing I wish was a little better was the camera s21 and iPhone 13 have a better camera other than that I prefer this phone hands down
