Carriers often have issues activating in the begining due to lack of popularity of device and precious recalls

However one and a half months in and the Phone no longer receives a signal from cell phone towers. I was hoping that this would move me away from the name brand but sadly this wasn't the case.

Great phone but inbound SMS texts fail frequently

Every OTA update kills inbound SMS messaging. OnePlus support said to use a GSM sim card. Currently with US Mobile (Verizon carrier) and using a CDMA sim. It's unfortunate as I have enjoyed this phone overall. OS Oxygen works well with Android, phone brightness and screen size were easy to see, camera was great. Having to find a fix for the texting problem is a hassle. Will be getting a different phone.

Expect disappointment if you try it with Verizon

We got the first to work only by calling Verizon tech support, but only on 4G. Have been told it is not compatible with Verizon 5G. Verizon reps at 2 stores along with tech support and 4 sim cards could not get the 2nd phone to work at all.
