He has AT&T so there was no issues with using it since the phone is unlocked. It’s a good phone. He has no complaints. The only downfall is that the 5G doesn’t work with AT&T. For some reason it’s not compatible.. We found out after. But it’s not a deal breaker for us

Great budget Android with headphone jack

I am coming from my 5 year old LG G6 which I absolutely loved until it finally stopped working. Since LG no longer makes phones I was looking to fill the void with another android; hopefully one with a headphone jack. Looked up best phones with a headphone jack and this one ticked all the boxes for me. The AMOLED Display is gorgeous, phone calls are crystal clear, no issues with texting (or anything else for that matter). Tons of storage space and I was able to put in my old SD card from my old phone for even more space. Battery life is amazing so far although I expect that to diminish over time. Haven't used the camera much but it is okay; gets the job done. Overall this phone was a steal for the price I got it. Definitely would recommend for anyone looking for a budget android or a phone with a headphone jack. Also I had never bought an unlocked phone before so I was a little wary. Best Buy gave me a new SIM card but it wasn't necessary since my old phone also had a nano-sim. Just popped the old sim in the new phone, signed into my Google account and everything was there.

Ordering, shipping, updates; everything was without issue. The device itself is great; OnePlus did a good job. May not compete strongly against the Galaxy or iPhone but works excellent on all major needs of a phone. And the price is great. Will purchase again as a back up.
