I bought this based on a recommendation from a friend. It was very easy to setup and allows to source multiple HDMI cables through the receiver instead of through your TV.

Fantastic, Run your cable box, and Apple TV, through the receiver, and it will switch units and show which one you want on the TV Screen, while it remembers the music mode for each. plus using Pandora or XM, it shows on TV screen, the 2 room feature being a separate source is awesome!

You truly get what you pay for with this receiver. The plethora of features, inputs, outputs and sheer power of the behind speakers make this a wonderful receiver to own.

This receiver was on sale the day I came in and I have had Onkyo receivers before so thought would stick with this brand. Very easy to set up and has great sound.

This unit is replacing another Onkyo receiver that finally gave up. Awesome sound and easy to set up. Has more features than I need but at the price I paid, I cannot complain.

I tried to replace my old Onkyo with a a new Pioneer brand but didn't realize it didn't have a phono input. So I returned it and purchased this Onkyo. I am very happy with my purchase and love the new functions.

I love this brand of receiver due to the longevity of its operations! Great quality product! I purchased a second one to go in my Man Cave!

especially recommended for home theater. this unit can drive decent speakers; the earthquakes feel like earthquakes, rustling tree leaves sound appropriate, alien nuclear attacks sound just like you might imagine they might (I guess?) plus if you want to listen to music... it will do that too. all the bells and whistles, I can't think of one feature i want which is not there. It seriously rocks. for a solid state amp, it is very musical, though if you are a serious purist, an old-fashioned tube amp is maybe a tiny bit better; but all things considered this is one of the best units available today.

money well spent, first time used it watched Force Awakens and sound was better than the theater. calibration extremely easy and hdmi hook up is as easy as it gets

This is a good receiver. It has the Two(2) Zone capability that I was looking for however, I cannot have zone two play on its own without playing zone one. I also cannot adjust the volume on zone two. This is the only bad thing about this receiver.

Works perfect out of the box and connected to my Roku/Insignia TV ARC and it works as intended. Very finicky about speaker wires which is good but I had to rewire a few. System works great and sounds great. I would like the remote app to be better but it is not horrible. The integration with Harmony remote is limited somewhat as well (You can't pick which streaming app to play, only to play the last streaming app). For the money, this is great. The 2nd set of powered speakers for me was critical. I love the fact I can have separate audio outside from inside.

This thing is an absolute power house is all the features that you could everyone including airplay and gives off just great sound couldn't be happier .

This unit has ample HD inputs and simple Audio hookups make for quick installation. I've been very pleased with previous Onkyo purchases over the years.

This receiver does everything except wash your dirty clothes!! Dolby atmos, 2 zones, 1190 watts, Blu tooth, & 8 hdmi, what could be better???????

It was time to upgrade my previous 6 year old Onkyo receiver that was bundled in a HTIB system. Bought this one on sale and absolutely love the newer music streaming features, 4K upscaling and the much improved power output than my previous 700 watt system. Actually have to keep this system turned down much more than the previous one due to the power output in a small/medium sized living room with a 7.2 speaker system. Will continue to purchase Onkyo devices as I have been very satisfied with their performance especially for the price.

I'm really big into a/v. I have 10 different mid range receivers. This is by far my favorite. Sounds great lot of future proof features.

This is a good reciever and it sounds good the only problem I found is the subwoofer channel kicks off when you have it turned up returned the first one and got a second with the same thing other then that it's a very nice reciever

I used this in my movie theater and it works great. It provides plenty of power to all 7.1 speakers and the sound I'd crystal clear.

The sound quality is excellent on this receiver and it has dolby amos also dts x.It does a great job up scaling picture resolution.

I was thinking of a high end receiver but honestly will not justify if you dont live in a mansion. Therefore, this mid-range receiver is just right for the size of my home theater. I am completely satisfied with this purchase.
