Was looking for a replacement for my AV Receiver and came across this Onkyo and decided to give it a try after reading reviews online and I am Totally happy with this receiver. Could not have made a better choice and Best Buy had the Best Price.

Great sound and features at a good price. The only negatives I have run into is that the auto setup for the EQ is over aggressive on it's cut off for most of the speakers and they have not released the dang Dolby X update yet.

When I want to watch TV this receiver switches from the HTMI cable setting to the TV setting automatically which means I have to manually change it back to cable to get HD. Onkyo said they will not fix this problem any time soon. Many receivers on the market today do not have this problem.

Sounds great . complaint Directv sound loss. When changing station or fast forward sound will be lost. Will have to restart amp source or reset DirecTV not sure if DirecTV issue or amps. Had no issue with previous onkyo system

Was looking to upgrade from older Onkyo. Tried Pioneer and found it extremely difficult. My last two tuners were Onkyo. I retun ed the pioneer and pick up another Onkyo. Easy to set up and operate. Looks good sounds awsum .

great receiver but I wish that I had more technical support.

Received the receiver, hooked it up and it performed perfectly. One of the features I like most is the automatic tuning for speakers depending on your configuration, i.e., 5.1, 5.1.2, 7.1, 7.1.2, etc. Sounds is perfect and crisp.

After checking for different kinds of receivers and needing 4K pass through for a 4K tv and direct tv this was one of the best products from other doing reviews and was very easy to set up and doing the speaker setup. VERY GOOD PRODUCT

Excellent sound with no video/audio delay. Plays 4K and 3D with no lag. However, if using ARC, it automatically changes input at random if it thinks you are trying to use ARC even when you command it to a new input.

So far this has been a good receiver and meets my needs.

This is my third Onkyo and I am never disappointed. I am an audiophile and would ordinarily purchase much more expensive hardware, including this receiver. But the quality of this at such a bargain price make this a top p[ick. I bought this to replace my excellent previous Onkyo only because this passes 4K signals and has more HDMI inputs. The automatic room tuning is outstanding (I have a theater with nine recliners) and the THX certification for audio is a real plus. Plenty of power for 7.1 speakers and able to handle Dolby Atmos as well. I have a multi room setup using another receiver and will soon test removing that receiver and using this for multi-room use as well. A double plus.

This is an upgrade from another onkio and I love it.

This purchase is great ' great system and helpful.

The receiver plays very well. The Treble, he Bass is well equalized. Each sound is very distinct. Each instrument is distinguishable. Good acoustic, good performance, good sonorization.

I had a onkyo integra receiver for years with no problems. This receiver seems like it is built to last also. Great sound and even has phono input which I required. Many hook up options, great price.

The receiver works great for audio and video. The setup feels 20 years old and the display/menu is dated but everything works well so it is going to remain as my primary AV.

Purchased Onkyo receiver 20 plus years ago. replaced it with another receive about 10 years ago Big mistake. For the ease of set up and use, performance and reliability you can't beat Onkyo.
