Customers are saying

Customers are delighted by the sound quality and ease of use of the 1190W 7.2-Ch. Network-Ready 4K Ultra HD and 3D Pass-Through A/V Home Theater Receiver. Many appreciate the receiver's powerful performance, extensive features, and the ease of setup. The HDMI capabilities and price point are also frequently praised. While some users experienced issues with the Zone 2 functionality and found the display outdated, the overwhelmingly positive feedback points to a highly satisfying home theater experience.

I got my reciever all set up and started watching a movie. About 45 minutes in a heard a pop, then the receiver reset and it came back on with a NG: SR error. I'm returning it today. It the replacement works better I will update my review.

    Unit failed twice

Had this unit for only eight months and it has gone in for repairs twice, I had to pay the shipping costs and on the second return was told by the service technician that the problem was caused by my equipment and satellite hookup. I have had the same configuration for over five years and never had any issues in the past with any other piece of equipment. The technician informed me that Onkyo would no longer honor my two warranty going forward as it has cost them too much already. Great way to build customer loyalty! Good reason to but a different brand to say the least.
